Good sisal for refurbishing a worn out cat tree
Good sisal for refurbishing a worn out cat tree. I bought 50m to refurbish the bottom section of a large cat tree, because the old sisal was falling off and unusable. If you check YouTube, you can find videos on how to remove the old and how to put the new sisal on. It's pretty easy. I bought a cheap glue gun, and extra glue sticks - I used about 50 glue sticks in total for this job. It took a few hours to do it, to be honest, so it's a time investment, but the section that I did looks great, it looks brand new. After putting the tree back together, I rubbed some catnip cat toys on the new sisal section, to encourage the cats to use it. It took 2 days but now they are using it several time a day and they are happy with it.I will definitely buy more and replace the other sections of the tree when I have some time.Highly recommended. I have added an image - the new sisal section is marked in red.

Does the job!
My cats had destroyed two legs on there cat climber, I got two which worked well, a little bit left over. You need glue to stick the first bit and last, just wrap it around the leg, I did one and left it for a bit then did the other. Good quality.

Exactly what we were looking
Purchased to replace the rope on my tower scratching post, was so happy to see I could get it in green to go with the decor in the living room. Seems to be holding up ok with my two cats using it. Was a bit complicated to attach but just take your time.

Good quality but strong chemical smell
Thick and seems durable - easy to work with you re cover a post as fed up on buying new trees. I got the beige but it really smells strongly of chemicals- can still smell it on my hands hours later and bit worried about giving them access to the tree again. Not sure if it’s because the colour that they bleach/ colour in some way …

better way to do, cheaper to do it yourself once you have one

Doesn't go as far as you would think
Really good quality, posted fast. Taking off one star as it is quite expensive and doesn't go as far as I expected. I had one section of a scratch cat post to replace and I thought 66ft would be enough, however it wasn't (see photo).
