It is very easy to hook up and its small size allows it to sit behind the receiver out of sight. I powered my from a switched outlet on the receiver so it automatically turns off when the receiver is off and on when the receiver is on. Customer service is excellent. My unit developed a problem so I contacted the seller and they rushed a replacement unit in a couple of days. I was going to upgrade my stereo receiver, but it is still working very well.
