Tried these because they are priced well, and I enjoy other lemon-lime sodas. It's definitely a brighter flavor - which I thought I might not care for, but I was pleasantly surprised. I wish I could describe it another way besides "brighter". I didn't understand what people meant by that in the reviews, but now - that's the only way I can describe it. It's almost like the flavor "intensity" of Fresca, but not as overpowering and lemon-lime opposed to grapefruit. I've reordered it several times since. If you're a fan of the "regular big names", this is definitely worth a try. BUT... It's worth noting that I've received multiple cases where many (up to half) of the cans were so dented that they needed help from a butter knife to open before being poured into a glass to drink. I've watched their drop off at my home several times and can confirm the damage didn't occur at the time of the delivery. After looking through the other reviews, I see this is a common issue. I think Amazon needs to look at how these are being handled inside the warehouses. If the cost were the exact same as the others? Or if I had to pick it up in-store? I might still grab my regular. But at this price and delivered to my home? These are very similar and definitely enjoyable enough that I'm happy to make the switch. So I really hope the handling-quality issue gets resolved...

Yes we all know artificial sweeteners are bad for you, but sometimes you just need a little taste of sugar-like flavor at the end of the day! This has great flavor, although a little too sweet, and the aftertaste is palatable. Best of all it does not contain a month’s worth of sugar!

Starry is the excellent lemon lime soda that we have purchased several times from Amazon; it is always of the highest quality at the lowest pricing we have seen anywhere. No argument there. However the one criticism we have is the unacceptable way in which the cans are shipped and sent to us. My estimate is that of perhaps four shipments, three have looked like they came through a battle zone. The soda company packaging is typically ripped apart and the cans are free to rattle around inside the Amazon box. In at least one instance a can or two has been severely dented in the process. Is this the fault of inadequate, weak materials that the soda pop manufacturer provides, or is it the fault of Amazon’s packers, shippers, and/or deliverers for mishandling the product before I receive it? It is not my judgment call. All I know is that we have decided not to purchase Starry from Amazon in the future. It is not worth the uncertainty of a lousy delivery.
