Functional after modification
The cover is protective, but a bit too protective when it comes to the buttons and SD card slot. I eventually had to drill-out the cover over the power button because pressing it through the cover was just a pain. It would be nice if they revised the design to expose all of the control buttons, since that's the main feature that sets apart a DAP from a smart phone.

Good protection BUT HARD to push buttons
Good protection BUT you need to remember that you need to push really hard on any button...

Protective, overly
Sadly it does fully protective, however it also does not allow any of the buttons (power, volume...) work through the case. So over all not really helpful and will not be using it.
