Bought this to clean up my docking station after upgrading my Macbook and having reduced number of USB-C ports. 10 minutes after unpacking, it was up and running. Only 1 laptop port needed to have 3 screens operational. Cables much tidier, although buying a 90 degree USB-C adapter does neaten things off so much more. I have also been able to retire multiple adapters for USB-A connections with the ample ports available on the dock. Fully recommended as a purchase and much cheaper than competitor products that I compared against.

I recently purchased a 12-in-1 USB C Docking Station and I am very pleased with its performance. The setup was easy and it works well, allowing me to switch seamlessly between my work and personal computer. I am especially happy that I am now able to use my Mac Mini on two screens once I had installed the software. Overall, I highly recommend this product for its ease of use and versatility.

My previous dock was Wavlink, this was fine for two monitors but no power delivery, did the job for the last two years. New laptop and this plugable dock ticked all the boxes and on sale for half price, no brainier! Worked out the box as I had the display link drivers already, connected to Dell 5440 and no issues at all, one cable to the laptop, done.

Update: after a few months this has started to play up. Regularly takes a 3-4 goes to be recognised as connected as a power source, same for the second screen. Sometimes takes a power cycle to get everything running smoothly. Original: Had this a couple of days now, very easy to set up, charged my work laptop without any issues, 2nd screen connected fine. Keyboard and wireless mouse connected without issue. I've got a new webcam and wireless headset Arriving this weekend which will both be connected to fully set up the home office. Will update after they are installed

Good quality hub which allows me to use dual monitors with my 2022 M2 Mac. It does require a driver to emulate the 2nd external screen. I'm using it for standard work related tasks, for which it's doing a good job. I don't require high end resolution, so cannot comment on its suitability for that.

A great product if you need multiple monitors etc. It works wonders with my Macbook Pro and not just windows. Thining about putting more into the office for other desks.

My new laptop comes with a USB-C power delivery capable port which also supports extra functionality like DisplayPort Alt Mode (needed for video over USB-C). To make the most of this and the multiple monitor setup I have, I was looking for a port replicator suitable for it. Enter the Plugable 12-in-1 USB-C Docking Station. My first comment would be that this is not a true docking station but a port replicator. You do not put the laptop into the unit, and it is not possible to power on a closed laptop from the unit alone (for ease I will keep calling it a dock though). In use the dock is reasonable but not great. It uses DisplayLink technology, and it is worth getting the latest drivers from the Plugable website (at the time of the review the website contains the same release version as DisplayLink themselves offer). The dock connects to the laptop using a USB-C to USB-C cable which carries the three video channels, USB ports, ethernet and power for the laptop. The video channels can use either HDMI or DisplayPort although I found HDMI cables to be more stable (this could have been due to the screen not the dock though). The image quality is excellent, and I suffered not buffering or other issues when using other ports on the dock at the same time. The power brick for the dock is large but is a separate brick to plug type, making it easier to put the brick out of the way. I have found one annoying problem though. The dock does not wake back up when the laptop goes into power saving modes (sleep usually). The only way to get a display from it again is to either power cycle the dock or unplug and plug back in the USB-C connector cable. To help get around this, I have changed my power management on the laptop to only sleep after 2 hours. In this mode, the dock wakes the screen up OK (the screen turns off after 10 minutes). Plugable themselves just gave me advice to change the power management on my laptop, so nothing different to what I have already tried. Overall, a decent dock. It is expensive though and for the price, you will also be able to look at OEM docks (these are usually dual display not triple display though).

Works well. Bought the 2nd one. Would be better if they have a 4 HDMI/DP option.

I've had this docking station hooked up for a week and so far it's performed well. I use it to switch between a Dell desktop and a Dell laptop, both running 2 monitors. It will run 3 monitors as advertised but i only use two. It has enough powered USB ports to run a camera, a microphone, and speakers with a couple of USB ports left over. I bought this one because my desktop uses Display Ports for the monitors and this one has both 3 display ports and 3 HDMI ports. And it keeps my laptop charged. If it continues to perform as it has for the first week I'll be a happy camper!

Works good just need to be tech savvy to get it going !

Excellent produit qui fonctionne depuis 2023, me permet de connecter via le port USBC Thunderbolt de mon portable ASUS zenbook 13 pouces ultra portable 3 écrans et jusqu'à 8 accessoires sur port USB dont deux sont USB3. J'ai eu recours au service de soutien dernièrement et j'ai reçu une réponse dans les 24h et mon problème a été solutionné. Excellent produit
