Pangea Hatch Premium Reptile Egg Incubation Substrate (8 lb)

I love this brand it’s the only one I will use for my created gecko eggs or any reptile eggs it’s reusable and it’s so easy to use and be able to tell when you need to add water again it’s amazing and you don’t need to add water often either it stays wet and not over wet! Great value for your money, since it’s reusable and the size I got was 8 lb bag will last me forever.

I am a first time breeder, with this product it was much easier for me to regulate humidity (compared to hatch rite). I loved it, so far 100% hatch rate with VERY little changes.. I have had to put in more water twice since January 30th when my first clutch was laid.. I have 60 - 70 more days before season is over I could see I might have to add a little more water again. This is genuinely beginner fool proof and the fact that I can use it again next season!!! It's AMAZING!!!!! Update, I only lost 2 eggs out of 50+ eggs, I only added water two times in a 6 months period. I just ordered an 8 lbs bag, as I have 12 females to lay eggs compared to 3 last season. Will update again next year to see how it went.

I ordered this product to try it on my first clutch of bearded dragon eggs 22 eggs worst mistake I ever made. I followed the instructions. I’m no stranger to this. I soaked it for over 15 minutes put it in my incubator. It was completely dry the next day and killed everyone of my eggs. I am so so so upset, definitely do not try this product. Save yourself the heartache and pain of losing your babies -100 stars if I could that’s how upset and pissed off I am.

Very large package. Directions on how to wash and reuse. I personally feel like this doesn't really absorb the water well. It kind of just gets wet. It doesn't really absorb anything or hold liquid. I did notice if my eggs are placed on this and not wiped off every few days and given lots of air flow they will grow mold.

There is a LOT of product in the bag. It will give me a lot of hatch material for many babies to come!
