Easy to use and to clean up in water. Dries quickly and covers well. I used on garden seats which I had oiled in previous years but oil dries out so quickly. Seats look smart now. Matt finish. I also did parts with Summer Damson shade to give two tone effect.

I can never get my head round water based paints for external use!! I also couldn't get my head around not waiting more than 8 hours to put on a second coat! To be honest, I expected it to be a complete botch job. I broke the second rule anyway, and put on a second coat on the following day, simply because it had started to go dark by the time I finished on day 1. Nothing terrible happened and the second coat took very well. I used this to paint and weatherproof some timber which replaced old rotting timber on my garage wall. It will be subjected to all sorts of weather. I painted it about a month or more ago, and it's already taken some heavy weather, and is looking good, very smart and there are no flaws. So far, very good.

I bought the cheapest one which, at the time, was the seasoned oak. It was only for a cat tree house i was making out of scrap pallet wood. It is very dark (see my photo) and dries to a very rich finish. Application is very easy - i just sanded the wood and applied the finish with a normal paint brush. Its not as watery as some treatments I’ve used in the past. Two coats are required (minimum) after the first cost it was a bit wishy-washy but the second coat fixed that. You must reapply the second coat within 8 hours otherwise the paint will dry completely and it wont take. If you do have to reapply just give the surface a light sanding first then you should be ok. I’m pleased with it - i just hope my cats will be too!

Works on the summer house

Very happy with my purchase. The paint was securely packed with no damage 😁. Easy to apply and looks amazing when done. Used on stairs that’s same colour as this. Definitely value for money and i highly recommend 😁👍
