Works Well, Works Outdoors
This extension cord performed exactly as I hoped. I used it with a high-amperage dethatcher that required a heavy-duty extension cord, and it handled the load without any issues. I ran the equipment for several hours, and the cord never even became warm. It feels very sturdy, well-made, and capable of handling demanding outdoor tasks. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone needing a reliable heavy-duty extension cord.

Bought a second after dog destroyed the first - it's that good!
I invested in a lawn mower when I purchased my home, knowing I didn't want a gas mower bc I had no safe space to store gas, and also that I couldn't afford a decent battery powered mower, I went with a corded mower. I have a big yard and no outside outlet, so a longer extension cord was necessary. I went with this cord bc it had good reviews, met the right gauge for the mower, and it came in 100' for a decent price. And I have to say, it really lived up to the reviews. I'm a single woman in her late 30s, who bought a home in her mid 30s, so it's not like I've had much experience with 100' extension cords, or extension cords in general. But I liked this one so much that when my puppy (who is not a puppy anymore) chewed up the first one (don't worry it was unplugged!!) I bought it again. And believe me, when I had to buy another one, I researched again, and again this one was at the top. It is durable, not much beyond puppy teeth is taking this cord out. It rolls around my yard with me and my lawn mower, but it's easy to keep out of the way (I'm someone who enjoys vacuuming and mowing, so cords don't bother me). It's heavy duty, and when it's wrapped up, it's pretty heavy, but when laid out across the yard, I can easily move it (as easy as it is to move 100' cord). When I originally bought this cord, I was having issues with electricity, and a lot of things could trip the circuit, but this extension cord and the mower held up pretty well, and now that I've fixed the electrical issues, it never trips the breaker - just make sure that you're buying the right gauge and you have the right plug for it. The fact that it's very easy to see if the cord has power with the light on the plug is an added bonus. One last thing, I've left this cord outside in a storm by accident. I let it dry out, and it works just as well as it did the first time. Hopefully I won't have to replace it any time soon, but I know if I did - I'd choose this one. I just wish there were more holders for a 100' 12/3 extension cord - I can't have a wall one, so that has been difficult to solve for.

Heavy duty extension cord that works great outdoors
I bought this POWGRN 100 ft extension cord for outdoor use and it has been working very well. The cord feels heavy duty and durable, which is exactly what you want for outdoor tools and equipment. The length is very convenient and gives plenty of reach when working around the yard. The lighted indicator is also helpful because you can easily see when the cord has power. It feels well made and handles outdoor conditions without any problems. The cord arrived well packaged and the delivery was on time. Overall it is a strong and reliable extension cord and I would buy it again.

It is a solid cord.
This is a solid cord. the build (weight and thickness) is great and the yellow color is good, tossing out concerns I had about durability and visibility . I have had no kinking issue and the connection at the ends remain solid. The power capacity was for a 15amp unit and I had no finds of warm spots any where. As a final, the cost here was better than I found elsewhere thus the on-line order.

Worked all winter!
This extension cord worked all winter to power the auto door, heated waterer, and warming pad for my chicken coop in Maine! I like the lighted end because I can tell that the power is on.
