Wish I'd had one before now!
This has been brilliant to bring our garden tools back to life. I have been thinking about replacing them but decided to give this tool a go first. They're now as good as new! Highly recommend

I found it difficult to sharpen the whole blade
I bought this to sharpen a range of garden tools - shears, secateurs, lawn edge trimmer - but found it difficult to sharpen more than the ends of the blades due to the design and the fact that several tools didn't open wide enough. I couldn't sharpen the secateurs at all. It is possibly OK for knives or scissors, but I have now ordered a sharpening stone for the other tools and hope I have more success.

Obscure instructions
Not opened yet. Can't read instructions due to lable stuck on back of item. Not helpful. as not sure if I should return it?

Best Sharpener I have found. Easiest to use sharpening tool that I have been able to find. I have used this multiple times to sharpen loppers that had nicks in the blades, takes them out and sharpens every time. I also use this for my everyday pocket knife that gets a lot of abuse. In spring will be using it on my lawnmower blade. Works so well I just ordered another one for my father-in-law as a Christmas stocking stuffer.

Kleines Ding mit großer Wirkung! Leicht zu bedienen und gutes ergebnis! Manko: bei Scheren-Werkzeugen, die sich nicht weit genug auseinanderklappen lassen, kommt man damit oft nicht weit genug hinein!

Je l'ai utilisé une seule fois à date. L'affutage est réussi. Les outils de jardinage ont à nouveau un bon tranchant.

Je peux aiguiser des lames fines de couteau ou ciseaux mais inefficace sur les tranchants des bêches et des coupes branches.
