Perfect for the money - Perfect for the Sony HT-A0.
Like getting a really nice print, it's rarely factored in that you may have to also pay a significantly amount of money to put it in a really well made and beautiful frame. There's no point in cutting corners and putting it in something truly awful as you will have to look at your decision every day and always feel a sense of disappointment that they didn't go the extra mile and buy something that looked good. The same goes for speaker stands. You've just shelled out on some nice speakers and now you need to work out how to place them in a room and make them look presentable (or even amazing) on something this is at the very least solid and safe and free from rattles and wobbles. So, I bought a Sony HT-A9 system (truly amazing bit of kit) and I decided that floor stands were the way to go rather than the faff of wall mounting and chasing cables into brick work. Now, IF I had bought a SONOS system there world and his dog make custom stands for their kit and some of it looks pretty good and is not too expensive. Not so for the Sony HT-a9. There's ONE company doing custom stands for this system that I could find, Vebos. Their stands look great but in a world where they are the only name in town they are charing an arm and a leg for 4 stands AND they are fixed height with no adjustments to either the overall height OR the ability to toe in the speaker for finer adjustments. They also cost £240 for 4 stands (Or £280 for the 1000mm version) AND it is likely that you also get customs charges when ordering a pair. Not the ideal solution. So, I went on the hunt and I looked and I looked and, by thunder, it was a thankless hunt. Nowt came up that had the things I was looking for in a stand. It needed to be... • Black powder coated • Height adjustable • Fixing points to fix the speaker to the stand • Hidden cabling • Feet for concrete OR carpet (in case I change rooms) • Well made • Pleasing to look at (or at least not ugly). • AFFORABLE Tough ask. But then I stumbled on this Mounting Dream stand and the review post by Josh. He was completely correct, this is the perfect stand for the Sony HT-A9. It ticks ALL of my boxes. The build quality exceeds my expectations by quite a bit for the money. The finish on the powder coat is faultless, not a single blemish, all the treading in the tubes is spot on and all bolts turn in without issue. All the fixings are good quality and finished nicely. There is not a single thing I can call them out on. Maybe the stickers they use could be slightly lower tack and the adjustable feet for hard floors could be a softer rubber but that is it. Noting else. So, for £132+VAT I got 4 pretty amazing stands that work perfectly with the speakers I have BUT also, unlike the more expensive option are far more flexible AND can be used with other speaker systems unlike the fixed Vebox options in the future. Oh, and the attention to detail on these is funny for the money. The channel on the rear for cable management even has a rubber seal on it to cover the cut metal. Why they have done this for the money is beyond me but it elevates these stands from being thoughtless, cheap and bargain basement to something far, far better. HUGE thumbs up to this manufacturer - 10/10

Stable, adjustable stands that work perfectly with Q990F rear speakers
I’ve been using the Mounting Dream speaker stands, and they’ve been a really good fit for my setup, especially with the Samsung HW-Q990F rear speakers. They feel very sturdy and stable, with no wobble once everything is tightened up. The height adjustment is useful for getting the speakers right at ear level, which makes a noticeable difference to surround sound. One of the best things is that they are fully compatible with the Q990F rear speakers, so mounting them is straightforward as long as you use the correct screws and setup. Cable management is also well designed, helping keep everything neat and hidden inside the stand for a cleaner look. Overall, they’re a simple but effective upgrade if you want to position your Q990F rear speakers properly without wall mounting—solid, tidy, and reliable 👍

Sturdy and flexible
I wanted a pair of stands to take some satellite surround speakers from Monitor Audio. These stands are very sturdy and solid and height adjustable. Also the top plate on which the speaker sits can be rotated to the direction preferred. They are designed for speakers upto 5kg in weight so probably an overkill for the size of mine. They are better suited for rectangular speakers than ones with a curve , especially on the backside as there is a slider guide with which you can secure the speaker with a M type bolt to the back of speaker fixing.( these come supplied in many sizes from M4-M10.) My only quibble is that my speakers wires are attached to the bottom side, and not the back. So I had to improvise that in a fiddly way. Also the base plate is too large for the base of my speaker and is visible. Not a good look. Apart from this these are good sturdy stands and good value for money, well packaged and just need a little more design tweak.

High quality speaker stands
Great stands - solid, looks great, easy to put together with a few screws and an allen key, good cable routing, a fixing bracket with loads of screw types for all major makes of speakers. Change the height, angle in seconds, If your speaker is not that tall then you will see part of the fixing bracket underneath it, but after a day or two you won't even notice, and if the stand is in a low traffic area and the speaker is small, you can even opt not to use it and just place the speaker on the stand as I know some users do. Although I wouldn't recommend it. Wasn't a cheap product, relatively, but way better than the wobbly ones with thin columns and cheap fixings. These will last indefinitely if they're looked after, and dismantle in a couple of minutes if you don't need them for a while. These were recommended to me, and I'm happy to do the same.

Sturdy and neat looking
Bought to mount a pair of Sony RS5 rear speakers as my existing stands were not beefy enough for the weight. These stands are easy to put together. They are nice and plain and adjust to a good height. They are pretty stable as well. The cable management, through the centre is neat. Only one niggle; none of the supplied screws fittings were the thread size for the speaker mounting. Luckily these speakers also have a hole for hanging on a screw and the stands have provision for this (I will probably purchase some screws to fit at some point). Tip: thread your cable through as you assemble the stands, it's much easier. My speakers have a right-anglef connector and an anti-interference fitting on them and they went through fine. Also the speakers have a bottom power connector; this was fine also. All in all a good buy.

I bought these for my home cinema setup, and I couldn't be happier. If you have smaller satellite speakers (up to 5kg) and want them at the perfect ear level, look no further. These stands are a fantastic alternative to much more expensive brands. Why I recommend them: • Heavy-Duty Build: I was surprised by the weight of the base. It’s very stable, and I don’t have to worry about them tipping over if someone accidentally bumps into them. • Highly Adjustable: The height adjustment is smooth and locks securely. It made it so easy to find the "sweet spot" for my surround sound. • Hidden Cables: The cable management hole is a lifesaver. It keeps the wires tucked away inside the pole, giving the whole setup a very clean and professional look. • Easy Assembly: It took me maybe 15 minutes to put both together. The instructions were clear, and it came with all the hardware needed for different speaker mounting types. Verdict: They look modern, feel sturdy, and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. For around €60, the quality is outstanding.
