Good question. It is advised to dispose of it as normal trash. Sugarcane Bagasse is not recyclable and should not be placed in the recycling bin as it is a contaminant.

I have ordered these plates twice now.  They work great, don't break down from liquids being on the plate and they are sturdy so the plate isn't folding in on itself.  Also great that they are biodegradable making them more environmentally friendly.
