popped the old dead timer out of my Brita pitcher and popped this one in. My old one lasted about 6 years so I should be good for a while.

Mediocre Display
The item is as advertised, but the display is not illuminated multi-color LEDs like my original. The display of dark bars on a plain background is less satisfying and has to be more closely observed to judge when it's time to change the filter.
