Exactly what I needed at a good price

Does what it says really.

Item is good quality and very much achieves it's goals. Having said that, and these really aren't problems, but more dealing with the reality of what was expected: the press wasn't as weighty as I had expected, but it really does do its job very well (first time I've bought one of these) and the cover (or 'Cheese Melting Dome') again seems a bit light, but it doesn't need to be heavy so it's all fine (oh and you had to screw the handle of the cover on, which again takes 2 minutes and isn't an issue - more informing people just in case it's an issue for them).

I've had no desire to ever cook a smash burger but my teenage son really wanted me to so I bought this set.The burger smasher & cheese melting dome are brilliant quality & essential to cooking smash burgers. They are incredibly well made & complete.Took less than a minute to assemble the handle & we made some tasty smash burgers.Cleaning them was a breeze too.Absolutely recommended.

Of course for SMASH burgers you need a press to flatten those 3 oz balls of 80/20 ground chuck. This press works great. Smash them thin. They’ll shrink up and fatten a bit cooking. They ain’t smash burgers if you don’t get good crust. Leave them on hot cast iron for 1-2 min undisturbed. You’ll see the edges gettin brownish. Flip them and same on other side. Seldom takes more than 2 min a side. Sometimes less.The cover is great to cover your cheese added with one minute to go. Melts faster. Cover also great for covering individual burgers for spatter control. Glad I chose this set.The

Works great. Perfect size too. Holds in warmth to make anything melt and stay the right temperature. The metal is study and holds up well.

The burger smasher worked great. The only problem I had was they gave me 3 screws and one nut for the dome cover handle when it should have had 2 of each. Luckily I had a nut in my garage that fit and used it. Both items work as intended.

nice quality dome, the press worked great but watch out, the handle gets a little hot, overall super happy worh my purchase!!

This is an awesome set!! I absolutely LOVE it!! just remember, weigh out your burger balls, I normally weigh mine at 2 ounces each, and then I place a square piece of parchment paper under and over each ball, then I smash it, remove the top piece and season it, then flip it into the hot pan season side down so I can season the other side. The parchement paper prevents the meat from sticking to the smasher.
