From the Publisher Review: Lots of mileage - There's so much in this book that you can appreciate and draw out. Simple, fun story; detailed drawings; buildings and architecture; rhyming. It is a bit American at times and I'd probably not give it 5 stars. But it wasn't for me! Bought it for a friend's daughter, who loved it. Now her little brother (3) is insisting on having it every night. Definitely recommended. Review: "That brilliant young man, Iggy Peck" - We first got hooked on this series with Rosie Revere - Engineer and Iggy Peck Architect doesn't disappoint. My son was 5 years old when I bought these books and we've read them regularly, talked about the stories in detail and been inspired to build as a result. Some of the dialect in all of these books is of course American, but doesn't detract from the stories at all. I love the idea that Iggy doesn't just build using conventional toys and materials and there's an important moral to the story too.

Beautiful illustrations and well written
My son likes it and I think it would be great for teachers to use in class with primary children as well. It's written in rhyme and is very entertaining with some lovely illustrations.

BRILLIANT! Exciting, clever, funny, interesting, a MUST have for a smart young child!
One of the best book we've ever had (and we have a lot as read 5-10 books with my little daughter EVERY evening!). At the moment I struggle to find good books for my nearly 4 year old daughter as she is very smart and already read so many since she was little, so most of the books for her age are now too basic, yet the ones for the next age group up are often too complicated or too long. THIS book is PERFECT for a smart young child, it's exciting, it's interesting, it's full of ideas, it's funny and memorable and teaches the child so many things! And I think it will still be just as exciting in a year or even two. A BRILLIANT buy, a wonderful investment into your child's library!

Lovely book.
Funny story with nice rhymes, perfect for reading aloud. The illustrations are good too and any child who enjoys building will appreciate this story. It is American and you may need to explain some of the words e.g. diaper but to be honest most children who watch cartoons on TV will probably be familiar with the language. Would recommend.

Beautifully written and a great read for children and adults. Illustrations as though provoking and humorous. Part of a fantastic collection of great positive stories to inspire young minds.

Great
My daughter loves this book. It makes the role very relatable and inspiring, she thinks about being an architect becaise this child can do it

The stylised illustrations as well as the story of going all out towards your passions is good way to tell the child about a new profession as much as standing for ones interests and passions

Iggy Peck is the bests book. My son loves it. The rhyming and cadence of the story is great. My son has basically memorized a good chuck on the book. Iggy is a loveable character. The story is funny and good. Illustration is nice! I enjoy reading this book to my child.

This is one of the best kid books. Rhyming is great for when they’re young and story line holds up for when they’re older. Makes a fantastic holiday book exchange gift for schools

A great book. My kid used to love it ages ago when we read it to him. We got this one as a gift for a grown up who just became an architect.
