Nice quality locks - have several around the home for different uses. Not as robust as some of the more expensive ones, but then, you get what you pay for!

Lock was purchased for a security gate worked well with lubrication for only a year. Failed on combination just spinning therefore not able to open and having to cut the lock off. For such a high quality name and robust looking lock i would have expected years of use left dissapointed and out of pocket

This lock is ok but hard to read numbers as so small, became fed up with it and purchased a different one with bigger numbers so was a waste of money for us. Probably fine for someone younger with better eye sight.

Needed a padlock for a five bar gate, and decided on this one after reading various review sites. Over a year on, with plenty of wet weather, and the lock opens like new. Sturdy build, no tarnish and a slick mechanism. Have just bought a second one for a pedestrian gate.

Vital way to control access at summer campsite and church burial ground etc. Only one Ive found that withstands weather, but give them a good scrub with WD40 each year. Some of them the numbers get black and difficult to read. Recommend if strangers are using them as in campsite security supply a small plastic magnifying glass on a piece of string!

I just think it’s a very good padlock and strong for it’s size. Very precise number dials. Not cheap cut a good padlock

Absolutely rubbish, rusted up and seized after only a month. These are advertised as outdoor and ‘nautical’ locks, but they are NOT fit for purpose. Could not roll the numbers well after only a week, eventually couldnt get the lock apart at all and had to cut it.

Great lock. Survived being frozen, and then rained on all season in the PNW. Come fall, it'll be going back outside until next summer. It's easy to use, and all the mechanisms still move well, despite being exposed to constant rain, humidity, and freezing temperatures.

Not the strongest in the world but they work fine outdoors in rainy Vancouver winters.

Dit slot was al na 1 week kapot. De kode werkte niet meer en het slot was niet meer te openen. Uiteindelijk met een slijpschijf het slot open gemaakt. Echt een erg slecht product wat je niet verwacht van Abus ! Koop dit dus niet, er staan meer van deze recensies met hetzelfde probleem
