Despite watching you tube videos of how to do it I damaged the polarizer the moment I pried up the glass and although I got started week enough with the molybdenum wire, when I tried to insert it on the other corner the whole polarizer and glass assembly just peeled off. Entire screen ruined! I recommend you don't even try this unless you have a heated vise. I used a hairdryer and a thermometer but the temperature was just too hard to control that way. The kit didn't come with solvent.
