depends on how many layers of fabric you are going too cut. 60m 45m 25m. between 6 layers or more 60m. but there is friskas circle cutter. but o dont know how many layers it cuts sorry but do hope this helps

Q: clamshell patterns, could this be used for making clamshells ?

I have one of these but haven't tried it for quilting. I would have thought it was a bit large for clamshells, and would prefer to make my own template with thin cardboard. Hope this helps.
