Does it come with a cover, or does it need a cover?** A: If you are switching 240V mains, then the switch body must be enclosed to prevent accidental access to the terminals. If you are switching low voltage connections, e.g. 12V or 18V for LEDs, then the switch does not need to be enclosed. No cover is supplied. **Q: How long is the supplied pull-cord? Can it be replaced with a longer/nicer-looking cord?** A: The cord is approx 26 ins 65 cms long. I don't think it would be easy to replace the cord with a thicker one. **Q: can this be added to a bathroom wall light that has no on or off?** A: I would think so. It the the same as you find in such lights. You'd need to drill a hole for it. The white cap where the string is unscrews (like a bottle cap). You'd need a hole wide enough for the threaded pillar but smaller than the cap. You'd have to cut off the knot on the end of the string and then rethread on the pull toggle afterwards. We had to buy a 2nd one as the first one stopped working when I pulled the cord with a bit of aggression!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazon verified purchase. *by G***E on 13 February 2013* I bought this to replace the faulty switch on a "Lumo Ecllipse" low voltage flourescent light fitting in the shower of my touring caravan. I had had a bit of difficulty finding this at a sensible price elsewhere. The switch is a straight replacement for the original and takes about 15 minutes from start to finish to do the job. It doesn't have a distinct click when switching on and off, but the original didn't have either.
