Sofirn quality, basic, powerful, reliable.
This amazing Sofirn flashlight arrives in a six inch length and most of that length is the 21700 battery. The battery life is about 50 or 60 years. It seems to last forever between charges. On the brighter side, you get a minimum of about 400 meters of bright "I can see that" light. On the lower side, you get just enough to preserve your night vision and not wake up the neighborhood. Clipped into a front pocket, you hardly notice it's with you, but when you need it, you know you have an excellent packable Sofirn with you. On an after-dinner walk, you have enough power to get you to and from without worrying about getting stuck in the dark. This is listed as a tactical light, so if you are surrounded by zombies who can't hear, this is the light for you. I absolutely love this light because of the beam pattern (nice mix of floody and spot, not adjustable), the range of power you get out of it, and the extremely long battery life.

An excellent flashlight with an intuitive interface
I've been a flashlight lover since I bought my first LED flashlight sometime back in 2005. Over the years, I've used all sorts of lights from simple 1 AAA battery lights to modern 18650 flashlights that have complicated interfaces. I've been a fan of Sofirn flashlights since I bought my first Sofirn SP10 a few years ago. Since then I've probably purchased about ten Sofirn lights. I like them because they are well made, bright, have useful features, and cost considerably less than the more famous brands like Surefire, Streamlight, and Pelican. Well this flashlight is no exception. This is my first 21700 battery flashlight and it is considerably larger than a standard 18650 battery light. I'd say that this SP35T is about 40-50% larger than an 18650, so it is not really an EDC light for someone like me, who prefers to EDC smaller flashlights. This is more of a tool box, glove compartment, or bedside drawer sized flashlight. But what you gain by going up a size is the light output. This flashlight is bright! When I got her, I charged her overnight and tested her out during the daytime and the TURBO mode was so bright, it brightened the entire room even though the evening sun was shining in through the windows of my office. At night, the modes are useful, and the middle level is probably sufficient for 90% of the tasks you'll ever need a flashlight for, but the high mode is really bright and is about as bright as the high end of a typical 18650 light. The TURBO modes blows away my other flashlights of this size. At night, the TURBO mode will blind you even if you are looking at it from a distance of about 50 feet. It is like having a small blazing sun pointed at you. I liked the simple interface, the two switch mode of operation (tail cap switch for on/off/momentary, and the side switch for levels), and I liked the beam pattern. It is not very tight and gives a large, voluminous cone of light that is useful for lighting up things in the near distance and up to maybe 100 feet in the higher modes. The beam pattern reminds me of another one of my favorite EDC lights, the Streamlight Jr., but this light is far superior in brightness and throw distance. Pros: 1. Excellent brightness on the top end 2. Useful brightness levels 3. Easy to use, intuitive interface with some nifty shortcut modes 4. Sturdy build quality - the light feels solid 5. Excellent run-time, especially on the lower brightness modes 6. IPX8 waterproof rated, which means you can use it at the bottom of a pool if needed 7. Easy to recharge with a USB-C cable, which is convenient since you don't need a special charger for the 21700 battery 8. Comes with a 21700 battery installed Cons: 1. Kinda big for an EDC light - this is more of a tool box or bedside light 2. 21700 batteries can be expensive and hard to find if you are not familiar with them

This is a good light, best of the four that I have bought. Really bright and easy to control. Small enough and the charge lasts enough.

Solid Budget Light with Trade-offs
Full Disclosure: I bought these before I really understood flashlight quality differences. Coming from basic hardware store lights, the specs looked amazing and the price was right. The Good: Impressive initial brightness - 3800 lumens is genuinely bright Great value for the price point Standard 21700 battery (no proprietary nonsense) Good build quality for a budget light Multiple modes work as advertised Decent throw for general use The Reality Check: Output dims noticeably over time due to basic driver circuit Battery life suffers from inefficient regulation Gets warm/hot on high modes (normal for this price range) Not built for sustained professional use Best For: Casual/occasional use Emergency backup light Getting into flashlights without big investment Situations where you need initial brightness but not sustained output Not Ideal For: Extended field work where consistent output matters, i used them in the woods to track, and the dimming was noticeable. Professional/tactical use Anyone who needs reliable performance throughout battery cycle Bottom Line: Solid budget flashlight that delivers on the lumens claim, just understand it's designed to hit a price point, not professional standards. You get a lot of light for the money, but don't expect Streamlight/Fenix performance. Perfect starter light or backup, but you'll likely want to upgrade if you use flashlights regularly. Would I buy again? For the price, yes - but as a backup to better lights.

Tactical light that lives up to its name.
At first I was a little skeptical because how often manufacturers describe anything as "tactical" for no specific reason, but owning a couple other good flashlights from the same brand, I set my expectations a little higher for this flashlight, and was not disappointed in the end. The product description already brings up all the specifics on the product, so I don't see much reason to go in detail about what it does and doesn't, so for anyone that still wonders if this is worth the extra few dollars compared to the cheap "tactical" stuff that is being sold around, I'll just straight compare it to one of those. It's a smaller package, with the help of the deep carry clip it's very easy to pocket, and it's CONSIDERABLY more powerful. The pictures speak for themselves. It's unfair compared with the stuff for sale around that promises tens of thousands of lumens for a couple dozen (wasted) dollars. The included battery delivers the expected runtime, and the build quality gives the confidence that even being banged around on a daily basis as an EDC you'll get your money worth out of it. Another big thing is the rubber lid for the charger port. It is well designed and of good quality, so it doesn't get open all the time during normal use. The "other" flashlights, they'll not only get open every time you handle the light, but they also get ripped off sooner than later, ruining the waterproof seal. One thing that sets it apart from its peers is the tactical mode to it, where it simplifies the operation for situations where all the extra operation possibilities could get in the way. It's easy to switch modes, so at any point you can decide between fancier menu or straight to the point operation. The only negatives I can find to it, is that I prefer warmer light beam colors (and would be a personal preference), and there's a very slight yellow corona around the center of the beam, that can be noticed on the driveway picture. This happens because of characteristics of the LED emitter. Overall, it's an excellent product. So if you're looking for something you can fit in your pocket, easy to use, and can turn night into day close by, here's an excellent option.

My new favorite EDC light.
I have been a fan of Sofirn lights for a while now. They are great quality and reasonably priced. This is a light I have been waiting for them to release. This light combines the best features of some of their prior lights I own. This light has the larger 21700 battery, brightness and onboard USB C charging of the SP35. It combines these features with a tail switch similar to that found on the SP31V2.0. I am a fan of the tail switch when carrying the light in a pocket or bag because there is no chance of it turning on accidentally as a side switch only light can do if not locked out. I am also a fan of the simplified user interface that comes with this setup. I can let others use the light without much explanation. The light has two modes. Normal and Tactical. You can switch to tactical mode by holding down side switch for 3 seconds while the flashlight is ON. Once in tactical mode, it will always come on in turbo and a double tap of the tailswitch is a shortcut to strobe. I will probably be using it primarily in the normal mode where the tailswich turns the light in and the side switch cycles through the brightness levels. It will remember the last level and turn on back to that level. It has the normal led indicator in the side switch that will indicate the battery level. Green is good, red means battery is low. This is another great light from Sofirn. I will be purchasing more of this light in the future.

As advertised
UPDATE: So not too long after leaving a glowing review, I took the flashlight out of my pocket as I was getting ready for bed, fumbled it on a carpeted/padded floor and it just stopped working. No indication why, just dead. I put it on the charger and the red LED came on, so I thought it juts needed a charge. It turned green in less than thirty seconds, so no, not the charge. I shook it and it turned on! Yay! But at that point it would only turn on at the brightest setting; it would not cycle through the 3 other brightness levels NOR the strobe mode. The very next day, it would not turn on again and has not since. I know it's only $50, but yet enough that for that kind of money, I expect my purchase to be a LITTLE more durable than that. This flashlight, on its highest setting, lights up the room as if it were a lamp! Pointed straight up at the ceiling fan/light fixture and set to the highest brightness, looking around the room, it was as bright as if I'd turned the 4-bulb overhead light on. This was also at about 11p with no other lights on. Now, the flashlight itself did get very warm after only about 30 seconds, so I didn't keep it on, but I was very pleased with its performance. The strobe is also very bright and will likewise heat up the flashlight in a short time. For the money, it's actually more than I expected. I've only had it for a few days, so if it turns out to be poorly constructed or stops working, I will update, but so far, this thing kicks butt. : )

3800 Lumen
Itโs not 3800 lumen comparing to other 2000 Lumen lights

Compact and super bright
A brilliant flashlight with all the brightness you need from a floodlight like beam and other light effects such as SOS, strobe and beacon if required. The accompanying 2 sided clip is very useful for attaching the flashlight in pockets or hats. The battery is built to last and I can also confirm what I havent read in other reviews- This flashlight also works with a protected 18650 battery besides the included 21700 battery. This should be good news for many that already have 18650 batteries/flashlights and wondering if its worth getting a 21700 based flashlight. Off course, with a smaller capacity comes a shorter battery life but I found even an 18650 lasting me well for a 4 night camping trip! Yes the flashlight head does get warm when on high and turbo mode but these two modes are really bright and probably not for prolonged usage. You can get by most use cases with just the moonlight, low and medium brightness options. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for compact sizes maximizing brightness and ability to use the common protected 18650 battery type.

Super Bright
This torch is incredibly powerful at full brightness. The dual switch design makes it simple to use, and the rechargeable battery is very convenient. It feels solid in hand, with excellent water resistance for outdoor use.

Just buy it. 10/10
Ive had quite a few flashlights from snap on to olight, mac tools... but this is the best so far. The 1500 lumen setting is more than enough for most situations and if its not, turbo gives you 3800 lumens for a literal pocket sun. The dual clip is awesome for working on stuff since you can clip it on your hat like a head torch. The strobe setting is an awesome touch for self defense as if youre on the receiving end of the strobe it will take you a good few seconds for your eyes to adjust back giving you time to escape. The beam is the perfect mix of width and range. The only thing id maybe like to see on future models is shock proofing incase of a drop and maybe a glass breaker tip for emergencys. 10/10 recommended for anyone 12+ it is very bright and can cause vision damage if used improperly.
