## Description

Looking for a portable and easy to assemble telescope for celestial viewing? Then the AstroMaster LT Series is just for you! The AstroMaster LT Series produces bright, clear images of the Moon and planets. Easily observe the belts and moons of Jupiter and the rings of Saturn with every one of these fine instruments. For breathtaking views of brighter deep space objects like galaxies and nebulae, we recommend the larger aperture and light-gathering ability of the Newtonian Reflector.

Review: Great starter telescope - Very impressed with what you’re able to view with this telescope considering it was around £100 and lots of advice given was to avoid things in this price range and less than 100mm. It’s very portable even with the stand. The stand is light and yes it does wobble but being patient with stability isn’t a problem as it settles down quickly to view what you want to see. The dot finder is probably the most difficult part to set up and please do this during daylight if you’re planning to view anything. Once set up it’s a piece of cake to find anything that you want to look at. Since Christmas Day my son and I have viewed the moon, Venus, Mars, Saturn and Jupiter. Most impressively is that you can see the rings of Saturn and make out the bands of Jupiter which is amazing. I would highly recommend for a beginner scope.
Review: Not bad... Not bad at all - Great starter telescope arrived a few days and already been able to see the north star and the moon. Not had any luck with planets but i guess thats with the coverage outside. Only downside is mine came with a different star pointer than the one shown in the images. I am unable to get this star pointer to fit as the mount is not correct and i have contacted desertcart who said they are unable to supply or replace the pointer. I was how ever offered a full refund and they can send a new telescope with the correct pointer or get 25% back so i did this and will just use some mounting tape to get the pointer to fit. Overall its a great starter for people who like astronomy. if you want to see Galaxy's and planets with clearer image i would buy a more expensive one.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How many eye pieces does this model come with? The photos shows two, but none mentioned in the description.**
A: Yes it only come with two,to get you started, you will need more lenses and a few different size belows for more detail on the planets.

**Q: How well can jupiter and saturn be seen through the 70az refractor telescope?**
A: Sorry been away for Xmas. Once I got used to the Scope you can see Jupiter and the 3 moons etc. I live in London South East and on clear days it excellent.
I think it will be even better if I take it somewhere like New Forest but it's an excellent scope indeed.

**Q: Hi can you use an app to find planets**
A: This instrument is not reALally powerful enough- Jupiter has been visible in the southern skies recently because of rotational proximity

**Q: What is the difference between 60az and 70az? i am a complete novice andi know these are aperture sizes. but in layman terms what is the difference?**
A: I owned the 70 and was not impressed untill I got a better diagnol lense for it then it was much better, I would expect this to be the same for the 60 hope you find this helpfull.RegardsMark kerr

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes girls happy
*by M***S on 27 June 2020*

I bought this to expose my girlfriend to astronomy, as she told me recently that she'd never seen the night sky through a telescope before. It had been a while since I had either, so I saw this as an excuse to get my hands on a semi-hefty beginner-level refractor scope. To my pleasant surprise, my favorite planet, Saturn was visible just a few degrees above the darkest part of the horizon, and I was able to find a place where we could view it properly in the back yard the night after receiving this telescope. The look of shock and delight in her face after she saw Saturn's rings was worth every penny. She spent until 2:00AM scanning the stars. Pros: -Easy to set up -Easy to position/holds its position well -The planets and the Moon come through as clear as day (although I'd suggest a better scope with those who have poor eyesight) -Good size for transport Cons: -The red dot scope is cool, but I still can't manage to calibrate it properly, I think this is a personal shortfall though. -For dimmer objects, like nebulas, I'd suggest something a little more heavy-duty. -focussing the scope can be difficult for beginners as it will cause the object to wobble too violently for fine-tuning.
