Review: Excellent low profile cooler - This is being used in my latest ultra-compact ITX gaming build. It’s cooling an AMD Ryzen 5 9600 x CPU and has been performing well so far. The installation was pretty straightforward the base is fitted directly to the motherboard. Just be very careful not to overtighten the Allen bolts or you risk damage to the AM5 socket. Actual performance has been good so far, it keeps the CPU in the high 80s under load. It’s not as quiet as I was expecting, bit that may be partly down to it being in a tiny ITX case. It ramps up and down with PWM nice and quickly and even shuts off for passive cooling when the CPU is at or near idle. I prefer the black colour scheme over the traditional retro colours of the Noctua fans. The build quality and appearance are also top notch.
