I have had way more than a dozen of these mini type keyboards. This is by far the best yet and is the favorite! Hopefully my last (at least for a while, until the dog buries it outside or the grandbaby eats it). Super easy to install, just plug n play for the usb or simple pairing for the BT. The included instructions are adequate. I bought 2 of these to have one charging while one is in use. This is used on a Mini PC plugged into the bigscreen in the livingroom for all of the movie, show and ytube watching (no cable or satellite in many years). It has worked flawlessly to power on the TV and to control Win 11. Super streamlined and very responsive. Excellent control with the keys and touchpad. I rarely ever need to look at the device or even think about it to drive.

I recently started using this keyboard and it has quickly become one of my favorite accessories. It connected easily via Bluetooth and also worked flawlessly with the USB dongle, with no lag or dropouts. The backlit keys make typing in low light much easier, and the built-in touchpad is very convenient for navigating without needing a separate mouse. Using it for a few weeks, I found the compact design perfect for my coffee-table setup. The IR-learning feature allowed me to control my TV and sound system seamlessly, and the battery life has been impressive. Overall, it’s a reliable, versatile, and highly convenient device that exceeded my expectations.

I'm using this to control an old android phone to run off my tv and it works good for what I need. I very much love the IR buttons on the backside as they allow me to interact with a 2nd device (the tv) on the fly without needing another remote to do so. Programming the keys were simple and straight forward, I just wish there were a few more buttons to make it truly more functional as only the backside buttons can be programmed to work with the IR. All the keys on the keyboard and IR backside are very responsive and so far the battery life has been great. Also like the option to have backlighting on or off. The other slight drawback is the track pad can be a tad touchy to use. It works fine but it's just so small that there's minimal space to move your finger around on it which can require lifting your finger off and back on to travler further distances on the screen. I think this device is a pretty good choice but it would be absolutly perfect it it was a 1/2" wider and had a few more IR buttons to preset.

When I first bought this I had a Samsung 55 inch crystal UHD 8000 series . Although not all the controls worked as the buttons were programmed to.. I was able to play around with it and figure out what key combinations I needed to do to do things like open my smart hub/home (which was like Fn+4 or something) and I had to memorize the buttons.. It would have been epic if the buttons did what they were supposed to.. So the weekend after black Friday/cyber Monday.. I was able to find a deal at Best buy for a Newer TV. I was on the fence of what to get.. but ultimately I'm Samsung all the way.. my phones, tvs, smart watch etc.. and I loved my 55 inch.. so when I finally had the chance to upgrade. I stuck with Samsung and got a 70" QLED and I love it.. and FORTUNATELY .. now the remote works with ALL the buttons like they are supposed to! So idk if it was cuz my previous tv was not as new . It was only from 2020.. right when covid hit.. But now my upgraded TV works perfect with this remote.. and even when it didn't.. I would have still loved this remote and gave it 5 stars even with the buttons being off.. but now I have every reason to give it 5 stars.. Also I bought EVERY keyboard remote I could find that I thought would be worth trying and I tried about 5 different ones out.. and found that this one was by far the best. I returned all the others.. one of the biggest thing I was looking for was the ability to use the cursor so if I had the Internet open and was on Amazon.. it would be easy to navigate around .. and I found some with keyboards on the back.. or in the top center.. but THIS was the one.. Hope this helps people.. I was sad to see this idem had gone DOWN in reviews and now only 4.2 average stars.. when I believe it should be much higher! So did my part and reviewing it now! Great gift for anyone with a smart TV.. honestly.. so you don't have to take the time to type emails and passwords when logging in.. this makes it much easier and faster! Works with majority of apps .. I think 1 app doesn't work . Think it was Hulu.. but not anything to do with the remote and was just how the app in the TV I have is programmed.. Happy holidays! The form factor is great for a couch PC, I love being able to control the TV with the built in IR remote. The only thing I wish was better is that the range is kinda bad for where I’m sitting on the couch about 18ft away. When I hold the left side of the keyboard I get missed inputs and like 15 repeated characters. And this is with the 2.4GHz dongle. I even used the extender cable it came with so that the remote is line of sight with the dongle. I have to hold it kinda weird or sit uncomfortably close to the TV to stop the issues. The swipe left and right gesture on the trackpad to go back and forward in a browser is kinda sensitive as well. And it’s a little small for scrolling comfortably. You need to 2 finger scroll, the blue line in the center does not scroll like you would expect. I I wish there was a couple more IR buttons just 2 more so I can map volume control as well as the menu, input, and back buttons of the TV remote. Rii has my favorite style of clicky and orthographic layout to their mini keyboards though I realize for comfortable typing the keyboard should have symmetrical spacing for the hands to hold. My only wish for this is if Rii made a controller style keyboard, trackpad, IR remote combo with a scroll wheel. I know they have similar things to what I’m describing but those are missing the plastic buttons style and the the IR remote usually. overall somewhat satisfied with this device but there’s lots of room for improvement.

Great! Works with my Samsung TV out-of-the-box, learned the ON, home, direction and return from the original remote and boom! It is now my all-in-one remote!

2.4ghz doesn't work unless you are very near. Bluetooth not able to be paired for Win 11
