Bought to pick up the nails from a burnt shed, but the magnet is not as large or powerful as I thought it would be from the image. However, if held close to the ash it attracted most of the nails, but don't expect to hold it feet above the objects and walk away with a pile of iron. You will have to get down and dirty.

Item does not pick up 45 kg as I have just tried it on a mild steel block. But just as worse is the fact that has a large crack in the outer plastic. This is one of my worst purchases I have seen.

Another quality product from silver line. Purchased this to hold metal whilst being ground on sander etc, hold very well handle holds well in a vice when polishing metal.

Very strong magnet ideal for picking up screws and nails. It is strong enough to use as a permanent handle on a metal door. The magnet comes with a two-piece protector which conveniently reduces the magnetic strength to the point where it will not stick to anything at all.

I bought a pair of these to lift an old cast-iron drain cover whose handles had rusted off. They can only just lift it between them, which suggests to me that the rating of 45 kg is a bit optimistic. I guess it depends on the composition of the iron that you're trying to lift. Anyway, they did the job so my money was not wasted. Industrial-strength lifting magnets are extremely expensive, so this is probably the best you can get without spending hundreds. Other good points: the rubberised handles make it easy on the hands, and the two plastic-covered steel keepers are easy to slide on and off.

Bought to lift a zinc inspection cover for sewage system. It's lightweight and really easy to use. Four stars because I don't think it would lift the weight claimed. It would need two to lift a cast iron drain cover. Pleased with it.

Ho acquistato 2 magneti ed entrambi si sono spezzati sulla giuntura dopo pochi utilizzi, sollevando materiali decisamente sotto il valore limite dichiarato. Non si tratta di un buon prodotto.
