Can these be laid down on our patio

Why? I laid these out in my driveway to test them. Two panels in series, then those in parallel to the charge controller. Be sure to connect the battery first. Input voltage was 30v. My output was 23 amps at 12v. You can mount the panels flat, vertical, on a roof, or A frame bracket. Output varies with the orientation to the sun. Be sure to leave an air gap under the panel. Again, I’m not sure what your question is referring to, but I hope this helps.

Screen is blank. how does the screen turn on? i connected the battery and have 12.6v but i just have a blank screen any assust would be appreciated.

Connect both the battery and solar panels to the charge controller. Make sure that you have the positive and negative wires correct.

Why am i only getting 200 watts from 400 watts of panels? Clear sunshine all day

The max watt for solar panels are only achieve with clear skies and solar panels that are tilted directly at the sun.

Is there any way to get any instructions for this kit? Mine did not come with any instructions.

There are no instructions. “Google” some of the different solar panel voltage configurations. You could run all 4 in parallel for 12v and get higher amperage. Wiring all 4 in series gives 48v, lower amperage so you don’t need as big of wire. I’m using 2 in series, then those in parallel resulting in 24 volts. The charge controller will reduce that 24v to 12v towards the battery. PAY ATTENTION TO POLARITY. Again, google solar panel connections. Eventually one of the web sites or Utube videos will make sense.
