This item is perfect. It collects the water in the tray and it keeps the food from splashing on the wall behind the dish.I recommend this item for anyone’s dog.

We bought this medium 2 cup slow feeder tray with a water ball for our French bulldog. I would like to say the tray itself. It’s amazing. There’s no mess on the floor at all. It’s an easy cleanup. I just wish it wasn’t so high for him. During food feeding time, we have to take it off the bottom tray for him to reach and feed. He’s so short to reach to the back. Hopefully, they can modify a 2cup one for dogs, his height*Originally, I did buy him the smaller set, which was perfect for his height but it’s only a 1 cup. He eats 2 cups.I was able to find other 2 cup bowl slow feeders from other sellers on Amazon. And that’s the one that he’s actually using right now. It’s like a star maze. It’s really cool.All in all, I love this food tray.

This is a great way to keep the dog food space clean and great for eager pups that you need to slow down while eating!

I got this for my 9 week old chocolate lab pup, and let me just say, it has changes his eating ways. Before the slow feeder bowl, he would eat his food in less than a minute, which could lead to health issues. Now, it slows his eating. I do have to help him right now because he is still so little he can't reach some of the nooks and crannies, but as he grows that will change. The neater feeders are also just perfect in general for labs, even if you do not want the slow feed bowl because they are such incredibly messy drinkers. This is an absolute must have in my opinion
