Excellent product strong and secure easy to fit

Easy to fit and initially worked great. Now after 6 months the lock refuses to open on the inside. Opening from outside is good, smooth and works well. Inside it opens (sometimes) but refuses to lock. So when you open, go in, close the gate… you can’t lock it!! How do I return? Consumer law 12 months etc etc— supplier changed no hassle now 5/stars

Nice and secure to use on my gate and fairly quick and easy to install despite a few hiccups but they were mainly down to my gate being wonky. I like how they give you 5 keys as I’m not sure you’d be able to get them cut but I could be wrong? The lock comes with a golden plate which goes on the other side making it look more sleek. My only complaint would be that on the inside part of the lock it is springy so is a bit fiddly to remove the key whereas on the other side this is not the case. I’m yet to see if the lock rusts as it has just been installed but will provide an update if it does. Overall I would recommend as it seems very sturdy and secure for the quite fair price!

I’m really disappointed with these locks. I bought them recently, and they constantly jam, making them unreliable and frustrating to use. A lock is supposed to provide security, but these don’t even work properly. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Fitted to gate, came with instructions fixings and a drill bit, keys, its good quality, and works as it should, admittedly its only been a few months but no issues thus far. makes getting in and out of the back gate so much easier than before as it can be opened and locked from either side of the gate with the key. should have fitted one of these years ago.

Assuming this is copied from the gate mate, I feel this is an inferior product, the overall design is good but the locking mechanism is rough. I realised this when initially inserting the key before installation. I managed to get a far amount of oil into the lock mechanism which did improve the ability to insert and withdraw the key from the lock. Time will tell but the old say you get what you pay for is certainly applicable to this product

excellent value for money thick, heavy, strong lock & easy to install, comes with hole borer which is very helpful, now we can safely come & go through the garden gate without compromising security
