Great tone and definition
I am relatively new to classical guitar (altthough I have been playing steel stringed acoustic and electric guitars for many years. I have a top quality student model (solid cedar top and rosewood back/sides). Compared to the "traditional" Savarez strings I have been using, the Corum Alliance provide dramatically more volume together with much greater clarity and definition. Sonicall, they are a step change for the better. I was also very happy with the feel and playability. Downsides: there was a lot of slippage of the trebles when first put on, much more than with the previous nylon trebles. Also my top E snapped before I even had it up to tension. I assume a one-off as the replacement has been fine (although has slipped a lot)

Mainly positive results.
Used these to replace the D'Addario EJ46s on my Yamaha NCX900R. The muddiness in the middle register has gone and the note separation has improved throughout, although I will admit that the tone on the first string has lost some of its beauty. Intonation has also improved. One thing to be aware of is that the trebles are much higher tension than on the D'Addario set, so I intend to try the 500ARJ set next.

Excellent classical guitar strings
Realistically, if you play guitar for a hobby, with an average instrument, premium strings like Savarez Alliance Corum won't make a huge difference. However, if your investment in guitar playing is significantly greater, this brand will not disappoint. Playable almost immediately (although they all need a while to settle in properly) they at once impressed with sparkling tone and stability. While I would normally wait to judge the durability of such a product, on this occasion I was enthusiastic enough to buy another 3 packs! (Sometimes you've just got to live a little).

High tension savraraz corum Great strings but -
If you're paying £20 for a set of savarez corum strings , you expect them to be in a air tight bag like Dadario sets then in a box,not like the old paper bag per string thing what makes them rust if you don't put them straight on. Come on savarez, keep up with the times ,these are a back up set and may stand in their paper packets for months with air and moisture getting at them - Great strings if that's your thing,I play a hybrid nylon not a concert guitar. Yes they're louder and much easier to stretch in than pro arte nylon but the carbon trebles are thinner almost midway between steel and nylon which can be harder on some fingers, and it's not as easy to do vibrato with these - but they're loud and very strong, great for a live classical performance, especially if there's lots of coughing lol

Ok, but not fit for competition
These are the worst carbon-strings I have has so far. Others I used were Knobloch and Pyramid. The Savarez start off extremely harsh, especially the bass strings. They then quickly (~2-4 weeks) decay into a mellow, dull, lifeless colour. Trebels were a little plastic-like and not brilliant at all from the start but also got worse over time. Now, after 3 months, I need new strings, bass already lost it's silver coating. I am not a very intense player, maybe 5 hours a week. Pyramid is more durable and lively, Knobloch is by far the nicest-sounding.
