I have an adult child with a genetic disorder that causes her to injure herself when she's upset about something. These work really well to keep her hands immobile while she calms down. Instead of connecting the straps around her waist, I attached each to her thighs. Before using them, I put them on myself (with help) to see if I could get them off. I couldn't. They seem sturdy and well made.

These lasted a few weeks. The inside of the glove has a hard thin plastic piece that didn’t take long before the patient had it all broke up inside. I actually found that ski mittens has worked the best.

The mesh allows full airflow and the padded inserts are large, dense, and fluffy. The wrist straps are very strong and do not allow any slipping. However, the anti-twist ring for the middle finger is too large and placed in an ineffective location. Would give 4.5/5 for an otherwise great product

I purchased these gloves for my parent. After a dental appointment that was a struggle, my parent consistently pulled at the open gum wound where tooth 🦷 was removed; causing bleeding. They also help to keep hands out of pull-ups. My only complaint is the straps are excessively long.

While not as robust the other mitts I reviewed elsewhere, these will work well for role play. If you like being the victim, or the evil captor, these can be great fun, but remember, a muscular "victim" probably can break free, these are designed for a less powerful subject. For the intended use, they are adequate, for role play, test before using them for safety sake.
