What’s the back like? Can you write on it? E.g mark the date of when the picture was drawn

The back is regular paper - you can write on it with regular ball-point or felt pen or marker or pencil - anything that would write on normal paper. Writing the date on the back is a great idea!

where can I buy more stylus pens for the cards? or can I use something similar?

You definitely can! If you're working with younger kids, we suggest popsicle sticks. If you're working with older kids or adults who are ok with something a little sharper, we recommend taking a bamboo chopstick from a takeout restaurant and sharpening it with a pencil sharpener. How many different types of cards are in a pack?

How thick is the paper on these please?

Pretty thick. Never saw one tear with 4 to 12 year olds using them.
