Adjustment can be finicky and I can't vouch for use with powerful firearms
I got this Laser for use with my Cold Steel .625 Cal Blowgun. It fits the blowgun nicely. The adjustment screws/sighting was a bit finicky. When I adjusted the windage it caused the spot to become distorted into a crescent shape. If that happens the answer is to back off the elevation screw, adjust windage then adjust elevation. I presume the same would be true vice versa. It works if you do that. Strangely even though I centered the dot to the bore (looking through the bore and centering the dot) my dart was hitting about 4-6" below target. So far I can shoot better (more accurately) without the laser (instinctive shooting) I'm not sure why that is. In theory the way I set it up would be perfect but in practice it's not. I will adjust elevation on the laser to compensate for whatever nuance is occurring I suppose. If I can still shoot better instinctively I'll just take the laser off. For the price even if it ultimately doesn't work for me it was worth trying it out.

Can't go wrong for the price
I mounted one of these to an old S & W Model 10 that is used primarily for home defense. It works well, was easy to install and sighted in easily with the included hex keys.

Not what I exspected
Batteries didn’t last long, something in the switch.

Useless
That laser is a joke, good visibility, easy mounting but not a good quality product. Adjustment screws are not accurate and when you get it as close as possible you’ll need to re-sight (zero) after every shot. Very bad idea to have anything mounted directly to the barrel. Would not recommend

Exactly what I was needing
It was a bit of a tight fit, had to be gentle and take my time but that's because the barrel I put it on was bigger than it was made for, still on there sturdy though. I put it on a 20 gauge break barrel. impossible to aim otherwise. Laser is....a laser, it does it's job. windage and elevation adjusting is easy on this because it's a bit more sensitive, easier to tell what you're doing. It's a life saver if...lets say you're in my position and your gun is like 50 years old, no weaver, no dovetail, so going right on the barrel is a blessing. Also the price? $12? Amazing, AND it came with SIX of the little batteries, probably pay $12 alone for 6 watch batteries. Lastly build quality is good, all metal all solid. Doesn't feel or look cheap.
