Review: The absolute best notebook for meeting notes - I discovered these notebooks by chance several years ago. I was out of town attending a professional conference and needed something to take notes on - so I popped into a convenience store to buy something. I chose this one and spent the rest of the conference relishing how smooth and wonderful the paper feels and how my pen ran over it. It turned a mundane task into something special. And the paper is water resistant (and coffee resistant). I've been using them exclusively ever since. I like taking notes on paper (rather than typing), I feel it keeps me engaged with both the meeting and with ideas that arise. This exact brand and size of notebook has moved from chain to chain apparently in an exclusive deal. The original convenience store chain doesn't offer them anymore; several years ago they shifted to a big box store and then in the early 2020s to another big box chain. Now desertcart may be the only place I can get them? Highly recommend. They come in a larger size but I like this size - it crams into backpacks and purses and coat pockets. ## Features - Enjoy velvety smooth writing on paper made from stone; Notebooks are durable and work well for any writing project; 8-1/2" x 11"; 60 Sheets; Blue; 2 Pack - Moisture- and tear-resistant sheets make the perfect all-terrain notebook; durable and versatile notebooks are great for on-the-go journaling or writing at your desk - Ink glides across the page and won't show through; these writing books make each and every idea come to life - Strong, durable double-wire binding keeps paper secure in each journaling book - 8-1/2" x 11", 60 sheets; blue; 2 pack; perfect item for school and office ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07CFN85RS | | Best Sellers Rank | #134,003 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) | | Binding | Office Product | | Brand | Oxford | | Brand Name | Oxford | | Colour | blue | | Country of Origin | USA | | Cover Material | Stone Paper | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 6,051 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00025932161643 | | Included Components | Notebook (2) | | Item Dimensions L x W | 27.9L x 21.6W Centimeters | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 27.9L x 21.6W x 1.2Th Centimeters | | Item Type Name | Oxford Stone Paper Notebook, 8-1/2" x 11", Blue Cover, 60 Sheets, 2 Pack (161646) | | Item Weight | 1.2 Pounds | | League Name | ncaa | | Manufacturer | LSC Communications US, LLC | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Sections | 1 | | Paper Size | 8 1/2 x 11 inches | | Pattern | Solid Color | | Ruling Type | Plain | | Sheet Size | 8 1/2 x 11 inches | | Special Feature | Lined | | Specific Uses For Product | Note Taking | | Style | Classic | | Style Name | Classic | | Theme | Plain | | UPC | 025932161643 | | Unit Count | 2.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Oxford - **Colour:** blue - **Cover Material:** Stone Paper - **Sheet Size:** 8 1/2 x 11 inches - **Theme:** Plain ## Images ![Oxford Stone Paper Notebook, 8-1/2" x 11", Blue Cover, 60 Sheets, 2 Pack (161646) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71LdhjARFLL.jpg) ![Oxford Stone Paper Notebook, 8-1/2" x 11", Blue Cover, 60 Sheets, 2 Pack (161646) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81HqvYj8WnL.jpg) ![Oxford Stone Paper Notebook, 8-1/2" x 11", Blue Cover, 60 Sheets, 2 Pack (161646) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81wXWB3jNvL.jpg) ![Oxford Stone Paper Notebook, 8-1/2" x 11", Blue Cover, 60 Sheets, 2 Pack (161646) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81zYMvdrF+L.jpg) ![Oxford Stone Paper Notebook, 8-1/2" x 11", Blue Cover, 60 Sheets, 2 Pack (161646) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71FcNwY553L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the difference between the old and new version?** A: The paper is the same, but the covers changed dramatically. The old ones used to be much simpler, just a plastic front and chipboard back cover, and they were separate. Now, they're all one piece, and made of a somewhat inflexible plastic that makes it pretty cumbersome to turn the pages and fold under itself. **Q: What are the best pens (brands or style) to use with this paper?** A: After EXTENSIVE testing with this wonderful paper, I can tell you: Ballpoint Pen with Pigment ink ! The broad points work Best. - Uniball PowerTank 1.0mm Black - Uniball Jetstream BLX 1.0mm Blue/Black You're Welcome ! **Q: I'm looking to use this with Micron pens for sermon notes. Will these bleed through or cause a "dragging" feeling when using them on this paper?** A: I have used fountain pens, gel pens, and regular pens - none of them bleed. The paper sometimes seems like it's "drying up" the ink or something and can make it skip though. **Q: Is the paper heavyweight?** A: It seems to be heavy - similar to fabric - not easy to tear. But I suppose that’s subjective. It is heavier than the loose leaf paper we used in school - and very smooth for writing. My wife & I think it’s well worth it. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ممتاز *by M***N on 10 February 2025* غني عن التعريف ممتاز وناعم وقوي وهو اساسا ضد التمزق والماء تقريبا بس نصيحة لا تحطه في السيارة او في مكان موجة فيه الجمس لنه بيخرب وبينكمش شوي بس كا دفتر حقة فيه ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The absolute best notebook for meeting notes *by M***R on 14 October 2023* I discovered these notebooks by chance several years ago.
