G30 Set

I bought this laser level for a major backyard project that included building a retaining wall, installing a French drain, and pouring a concrete patio. It ended up being one of the best tools I picked up. The setup was fast and straightforward. The tripod and mounting hardware that come with it are solid, and the laser was easy to see even in daylight. I used it to grade the slope for drainage, level the wall blocks, and make sure my concrete forms were spot on. It saved me a ton of time and second guessing. It is accurate, reliable, and makes you look like a pro, even if you are just a weekend warrior. Honestly, it took the guesswork out of every step and gave me the confidence that everything was aligned and properly sloped. If you have a project where "close enough" is not good enough, this is the tool to get. Highly recommend. Just be warned, your neighbors might start asking for help with their projects once they see what you can do with it.

Worked great for my kitchen cabinet install. Used the horizontal setting for setting base cabinets and then the vertical setting for the wall cabinets. Marked the stud locations on the wall, set the vertical line on the mark. While someone else held the cabinets in place, I marked and drilled pilot holes into the stud and fastened wall cabinet to the wall. Only wished the tripod adjusted higher. Had to make a table for it to set on in a few instances and move it around when I needed the line higher. Great buy though and very useful.

***Update 11/2*** Received the new laser. Company did the right thing. This is a great laser level ***Update 10/27*** The company got back to me and is sending a replacement. Will raise the stars once I get replacement. Was finally able to use this laser level after some construction on my house was done. Was using the laser to hang pictures. While using it for the first time the horizontal line just stopped working after about 5-10 mins. Only the vertical line kept working. I powered it off and on, took batteries out and put back in and even hit the button to get the horizontal like to work but still didn't work.

I like the self-leveling feature and the option to turn on / off the horizontal/vertical light. For the price it's great. The only tough part is getting the level to the height you want to hang pictures at. I put the little tripod on a fold-up table and some Rubbermaid to get the level to the right height. Once you're close the level has a knob that allows you to adjust +/- a foot or two.

A must have for the DIY’er! First and foremost it is well made and spot on level! I definitely got my money’s worth with this laser level. I used this to set all my cabinets in my kitchen remodel. It was dead on for accuracy and being level. When I first used it I kept checking level with my 6 foot level and it was spot on each time. It was also used for a 30’ vertical run on my LVP floor project. Great for hanging pictures etc. I highly recommend this laser level for the cost!

The beam was bright for indoor use. I haven’t tried it outside yet. 4 AA batteries included. Nice storage case. I wish the instruction booklet had been cut to a size that fit inside the case. There is a tripod mount screw hole in the base. It seems that you can choose a horizontal or vertical beam, but not both at the same time. The self leveling feature works well, and the light flashes if you have positioned outside of the angle range that it requires to function. The unit is not too heavy. The magnetic bracket allows it to be attached to a steel pole or surface. A good Balfour the money.

We used this laser level with tripod while building our home, and it was absolutely fantastic! The setup was quick and easy, and the laser was very bright and accurate, even in larger, open spaces. The adjustable tripod was sturdy and made it simple to get precise measurements at different heights. It saved us so much time and helped us keep everything perfectly level throughout the project. We’re extremely happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone tackling home building or major renovations!
