I used this to visually mark a single step between two living room spaces that was a trip hazard. Installing was simple, adhesive seems fine (we’ll see how it holds up…). I was able to connect three sections almost seamlessly ( you can tell if you’re looking for the seams but I doubt anyone will be). Great for my purpose. My only question is how well the adhesive stays so we’ll see on that.

This looks absolutely amazing with the honey oak vinyl plank flooring I put on my (formerly!) ugly basement stairs. The vinyl blends well with the natural-finish red oak wood throughout the house, and these edge protectors blend wonderfully with the vinyl. I'm a woman in my early 60s, and the rubber provides added safety to steep and dangerous stairs while giving a professional finish to the tread. Honestly, I was afraid these would look ugly or industrial, but they don't at all. Couldn't have been easier for me to install, and they cut so easily that I was able to return the expensive tool I'd purchased to cut another kind of nosing. Saved a ton of money over that nosing, too. This seems to stay in place well. Recently had a former home inspector in the house who stopped to admire my stairs. It was the ultimate compliment. I just couldn't be happier.

Put these over peel and stick tile on steps to basement 4 months ago. They stuck to edge easily and have stayed adhered with no problems. I was impressed with the stickiness and how quickly they had a strong bond. Just slightly worried how the extra dampness from added humidity this summer might affect the adhesion, but at this point not expecting an issue. Will update review if needed, but I did buy spray glue that should work if any spots comes loose. The style/thickness works well for safety, but not in love gray color, kind of blah gray, wish it was darker gray.

Easy to install, took me less than an hour to put them on fifteen wood stairsteps leading to a second-floor studio. For what it's worth, I found it much better to peel off the tape on the vertical part first, stick it firmly in place, then lift a corner of the horizontal part and peel that tape off. Looks very good, it's just a matter of time to see how they resist the weather since the stairs are outdoors. Would give it five stars otherwise.

It’s awesome and easy to use

So happy to have added this set of stair edgers to our deck remodel. They not only concealed the appearance of our worn step edges, but added amazing improvement in the feeling of stability as we use them. I feel they have added a safety factor that we were lacking and I am very glad we purchased them. They came well packaged and in perfect condition. Very easy to attach- my husband did 13 stairs with a bit of custom cutting in well under an hour. Five stars!

I initially liked the Rubber Bond Stair Edge Protector—it provided good anti-slip protection and looked great on the stairs. However, after just a few months of use, one of them cracked, which was disappointing. The concept is great, but the durability didn’t hold up as expected. If you're looking for something long-lasting, this might not be the best option.
