Bob Ross Brush Beater Rack - Black

I bought a mop bucket, removed the wringer and added a bin bag, it fit perfectly in the bottom. Does the job without the mess, can’t help but copy Bob and beat the heck out of the brush!

The product is well made and sturdy, however i'm not sure about the point in having the long legs. You'll need a bucket probably twice the height of the rack and I struggled to get one which wasn't massive on all dimensions. That being said, it does the job (even if you're not beating the devil out of your brush) - I use mine quite slowly in a more shallow bucket.

Works a treat, cleaned brushes for oil painting

It's way to big to fit into any bucket I own so I returned it. It did look as though it would clean brushes well. However I do feel you could find a rack that is cheaper and more accommodating of a size.

It's wild how much quicker and easier it is to paint with the Bob Ross method (especially if you only have 1 of each brush like I do to start) with the brush beater rack in a small trash can. I did two paintings where I tried just shaking it off in a trash can or beating it on the side of my table, which was a total mess and didn't get all of the paint & thinner out of the brush. Putting this rack in a 7 gallon rectangular trash can (like this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013CQ5EO) made a world of difference. Keeps the mess contained and allows you to "beat the devil out of it" much quicker with much less left in the bristles. This and the thinner bucket/screen cut my brush cleaning time in at least half during paintings. Worth every penny if you're doing Bob Ross paintings with any regularity!

Must have item for Bob Ross wet on wet paintings. This fits perfectly inside a standard garbage or recycling bucket. You can then beat the devil out of your brushes without splattering thinner and paint everywhere. You need this product as it takes all that excess paint and thinner out of your brush, trust me don't try painting without it, you'll become a mud mixer on the canvas.
