My existing one finally needed replacing, after probably 15 years. The bristles had finally all bent over too much, and the whole thing was generally looking grubby. It could still be used of course, but for just over £1, not replacing it with a shiny new one seemed ridiculous. Perfect for loosening things like porridge in a saucepan, rather than getting all the debris embedded in a sponge or cloth. Wouldn't be without it for that sort of task, then finishing off with the sponge.

This brush washes up well. No complaints.
