## Description

The simplest, most versatile sandal your feet will ever love. We’ll let Xero Shoes expert, Randy Kreill, tell you about the Genesis: Start enjoying your Xero Shoes Genesis just moments after they arrive in your mailbox. It’s called the Genesis because it was inspired by our first product, our DIY sandal kit, and one of mankind’s first footwear designs. Then, of course, we updated it with the experience we’ve had and feedback we’ve gotten, from making barefoot-friendly sandals since 2009. Why you’ll love the Genesis: The right combination of barefoot-friendly ground feel plus protection, thanks to our exclusive 5mm FeelTrue® rubber outsoles Lightweight – men’s 9 is only 4.6 ounces each Elegant contour to hold your foot, but without unnecessary support Pre-laced — just slide in your foot and go Patent-pending tension adjustment system — find the perfect fit in seconds, and then you can slide your Xeros on and off in a flash Super soft toe loop — since the huaraches-inspired lacing goes around your entire foot, you don’t feel the toe loop the way you do in a flip-flop or other thong sandal Nylon Achilles strap with Silicone grip — holds on securely and comfortably Elevated ankle holes — the lace never touches the ground, and so it won’t abrade Trim to fit — with just kitchen scissors, you can trim the Genesis to match your foot shape Vegan-friendly 5,000-mile sole warranty!

## Features

- Size up if in between (whole sizes only)
- Easy On/Off and Packable The Genesis is all about effortless style. The pre-laced, adjustable system means they’re easy on/off. They’re also featherlight, and ultra-packable. Lay them flat, roll them up, or clip them to your bag – the perfect travel companion for everything from a day by the pool to an extended vacation.
- Natural Movement The barefoot design of the Genesis lets your feet adjust and mold to the terrain, so you can move with confidence and agility. This is different from stiff-soled sandals that force you to move on top of the ground without really connecting to it. In the Genesis you’ll enjoy all the benefits and comfort of natural movement without compromising on style.
- Ground Feel The right combination of barefoot-friendly ground feel plus protection, thanks to our exclusive 5mm FeelTrue rubber outsoles
- Super soft toe loop Since the huaraches-inspired lacing goes around your entire foot, you don’t feel the toe loop the way you do in a flip-flop or other thong sandal

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there a reason these cost so much? Bill of Materials does not seem extensive. Wondering if something is special about them.**
A: Great question! All of our shoes and sandals would use our patented FeelTrue Rubber for durability, grip, and flexibility, which is backed by our 5,000 Mile Sole Guarantee! Likewise, the Genesis would use our Amuri Hardware Kit for additional strapping adjustments, and a paracord lacing for holding onto the feet!

If you were looking for a more cost-friendly option, the Genesis is in essence a premade and upgraded version of our Do-It-Yourself FeelTrue Rubber sandal kit available through our website.

**Q: Is the material for earthing? as in does the material allows for electrons from the earth to your feet?**
A: Not really , how ever it does allow your feet to move naturally and and allow your feet to work the way they are supposed to and since they are a zero drop in other words no padding so you do get some feed back from the ground but if you want the full effect of the negative ions and electrons , my recommendation would be to go barefoot if you're a avid barefooter as I am then you'll want the full effect of the negative ions and electrons. I hope I've answered your question.

**Q: When do you expect to restock size 13 Mens? Thanks!**
A: We currently do not have an exact date but they will most likely be restocked during the Spring of 2023. We'll send a notification when they are available again.

**Q: How easy is it to get on and off? Can you do it one handed? Do the laces have some stretch?**
A: Easier with two hands but it can be done with one.
