Can the stairs be installed outside under a deck

Mine aluminum stairs are install under my carport. Just make sure you have enough room to pull the steps completely down.

Is it fire rated for garage ceiling ?

The door is made of wood, we are replacing the wood fold-down stairs with the new aluminum ones.

Try the LITE Aluminum Attic Ladder, it comes with the door and the frame. Make sure you measure your attic entry for proper dimensions before ordering. It is best to have two people to install it.
