Excellent 10G for Wi-Fi 7 APs
I'm refreshing my house with Ruckus R770 Wi-Fi access points. They require PoE++ and 10G back haul. This switch is perfect for running up to 4 of these APs. The software Omada controller is also pretty and works quite well. This is a great cost effective solution for Wi-Fi 7 APs. Update: I've had the switch for a few months, and its been rock solid. Unlike others, I hear no fan noise. I have three Wi-Fi 7 APs, each drawing about 12w. The Omada SDN solution is also pretty robust, although not always the most intuitive UI. Strong recommend for Wi-Fi 7 APs.

TP-Link TL-SG3428XMP Review -- good switch minus the fan noise
Bought the TP-Link TL-SG3428XMP to replace Unifi network that was buggy and laggy. Found this unit with a good number of enterprise-level features and an excellent price point. The setup was pretty straightforward and ran into no issues. The network seems to be performing well with no issues. My only complaint is that these fans are screamers and loud. I have a network closet that this is in, so not a big deal -- but still loud. I will eventually try to may use a Noctua low noise adapter to reduce. Otherwise can't go wrong, especially at the price point and performance.

Very loud fan noise
The switch is great, performance wise. But the fan noise is a deal breaker. It won't turn off even when the switch is idle. Make sure you plan on putting this switch away, far away, in a remote closet. The fan is so loud it makes it unbearable if used in an office environment.

You Know Cisco, TP-Link is EASY
If you know Cisco CLI this is about as easy as it gets. Cheaper than Cisco. Very power efficient. Runs quiet. LACP was easy. Vlans easy. Only new concept is pvids, basically native vlans.

Buggy as... an August evening in South Carolina
Dislike: No power switch or hard reset button (at all). Dislike: Web interface keeps becoming unresponsive Dislike: Random inexplicable port deactivations Dislike: Fragmented Web UI, related features spread out over multiple menus/tabs Dislike: Couldn't get the SFP+ ports to work at all Replaced a Netgear router that was taken out by a power surge (but worked perfectly well for 2 years before that). So can't blame the cabling/other routers/power supply/anything else Would have returned it but took longer than the AMZ return window to figure out quite how awful it is. It was unreliable from the day it was first plugged in. Update: Things can go wrong with any product, so I wanted to provide an update on how TP-Link support addressed this case. The answer is: they did nothing to make me revise my low opinion of the brand. Their online chat is at least responsive, but somehow you wind up sending them emails which they *will not* respond to in less that 24h. Thus, the support process drags out over several days. Eventually got an RMA authorized 5 days after first reporting an issue. By that time, I'd been obliged to buy a replacement. And (quoting the Support operator) 'Unfortunately, we don't do refund as the switch is purchased from Amazon and we don't have control over Amazon stock. But, I can help you to get a replacement for that switch.'

Solid performance!
The TP-Link TL-SX3206HPP switch is an impressive 10Gb switch designed for high-performance networking. While its fans can be a bit loud during startup, this is a minor inconvenience for a switch meant to be housed in a rack or network closet. Its robust performance, extensive connectivity options, and reliable power over Ethernet (PoE) make it a standout choice for demanding network environments. Whether you're upgrading your home lab or scaling up a business network, this switch delivers the speed and efficiency you need.

Works Great, Easy Interface, Loud
This thing operates as it should! No surprises or difficulty. The only downside is that it is LOUD. I'm not running anywhere near full capacity and it's just... LOUD.

As you of now, no issues whatsoever. Only complaint I have is the fan its a bit loud even with light load. Will probably replace it soon with a noctua fan. But overall I am happy with the 2.5gb connections

SG3218XP-M2 - a very nice 16 port 2.5GbE with 2 SFP+ ports. The fans are a bit noisy when the switch is starting up. Nice switch to upgrade my home network backbone for servers/storage. Can configure the switch via GUI or can use the controller software/hardware. The mounting brackets are also very nice. You can rotate them, so you can mount to the wall or under a desk. Please note, only the first 8 ports have PoE.
