Unbelievably this worked! My Epson Ecotank is heading for 4 years old and 50000 prints and I was about to replace it. This appears to have immediately fixed the paper feed issue (almost impossible to get anything to feed) and for £4.99 seems to have saved (or at least delayed) a £350 new printer! Worth trying.

Used this for cleaning capstan roller on vintage tape recorders. Works well for cleaning using cotton buds and also to rejuvenate hardened rubber. Big bottle is best value but will probably last me for years.

Spraying this on the rollers of our laser printer significantly reduced problems of misfeed, but it seems that I need to re-spray fairly regularly to maintain good performance.

I've used this to soften and restore the anti-vibration mounts and drive belt on an old Pioneer PL115D record deck, to restore the drive rollers on a laser printer that wasn't feeding paper correctly and to restore the drive belt on an old cassette player. In the case of the record deck, with a 48-hour soak in a plastic bag the drive belt actually shrank back close to its original size.

Bought to return a rubber platter on a record deck, this stuff is really good. You need lint free cloths and to leave it to dry, but the results are very impressive, bringing the grip back to the surface and removing the shine from aging rubber. 1L is a lot.. I only bought because I will use it for lots of other projects.

I gave the pickup pad and rollers of my 10 year old HP printer a good clean with this and one of the matching lint free pads and it has gone from picking up the paper 2 times in 5 back to 100%. I don't know whether water would have achieved the same effect, but this certainly worked well.

My printer was continually getting jams due to bad paper feeding. I tried all the on-line DIY potions with little success and so gave in and bought this item. A quick spray and wipe of the rollers and the jaming has stopped. Completely. The printer is back to high reliablilty as regards paper-jams.

This stuff works great!! It took forever for my at-home printer to grab the paper. I was wondering where I could bring it to get it fixed, if anywhere, these days!! I put the Platenclene on the printer roller and it no longer takes forever for the printer to grab the first sheet!! Highly recommend!!
