I recently bought this UGREEN micro USB cable and I’m really happy with it. The 0.5 m length is perfect for keeping beside my bed or in the car, and it charges my Galaxy S7 reliably with what feels like fast-charge speed. I like that it’s well-made — snug connectors, no wobble, and it feels sturdy. So far I’ve had no issues, and it’s become my go-to cable for everyday use. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a dependable micro USB cable.

Works fine

I have bought more cables and adaptors than anyone I know, and probably more that most people I don't know. I have a slight obsession with the things and if there's a danger that I won't have the correct length, correct male/female plug, correct adapter etc. it makes me panic and I am on Amazon quicker that a USB 3.0's rated connection speed! However, my vast consumptions of all things 'cabley' have taught me that all cables are NOT created equal. Indeed some are a bitter disappointment and will get ditched very unceremoniously. In the recent years a new type of cable structure has evolved — i.e. braided, and it's making older plastic-sheathed ones feel decidedly old fashioned. This is mainly because the braided ones don't fight you as much as the old plastic covered ones and they will easily coil into a manageable circle making them much more pleasant to use. However, not even braided ones are all created equal it seems. I have generally liked UGreen products and stumbled across their braided USB cables quite recently. They are wonderful and bit by bit I am hoping that all my cables will be of this type. I have bought balck and white versions, ranging from 1/2 metre to 3 metres in length. The thickness of the braided cable is about right (I guess I would like to see if they can get the cable a little thinner in the future as the production processes progress) and the non-tangling, non-wrestling qualities are superb. Add to that the UGreen excellent fitting and well made end plugs (USB etc) and you have pretty much the perfect cable in my opinion. To try and get a little saving I have tried some other cheaper braided cables but so far it's the Ugreen ones that are the best for me. I will look no further. If UGreen do the connection and cable length I need then they get my custom. Excellent top-end quality product and I would recommend them most highly.

Excellent build quality so should be durable. Charges well with one quirk. The phone is a rebadged ZTE22. I had been using the original charging lead with an ASUS 5v2a output transformer. This Ugreen lead worked fine for four months then became intermittent, then it started to charge so slowly that if the phone was used it discharged. The original lead remained perfect. I was about to claim a refund but first tried various combinations: the phone and other leads & transformers are fine. Finally, I tried the Ugreen with the original ZTE 5v1.5a transformer. So far this has worked perfectly including very fast charging with the phone in use. My conclusion is that there is an incompatibility between the Ugreen and ASUS though why it took so long to manifest itself is a mystery. If you have similar problems, I recommend that you first try a different charger. Ugreen customer service has been exemplary.

For one off charges i will use cheap (poundland style) cables, but as a main phone charger i would rather place my trust in a better quality item. My phone is older so takes micro USB rather than the more modern USB C so struggled to find a replacement cable when my last one broke, even direct from Samsung. I therefore turned to Amazon. Although UGREEN isnt necessarily well-known, it does appear to be a company who specialise in this sort of item, and as such, i decided to "give it a whirl". So far i have not been disappointed. Feels and looks durable, when used with a compatible plug it is capable of 'fast charging'. The extra length i purchased intentionally as i found my last one was a bit short - if you are finding that your cable is feeling a bit short, i strongly recommend spending slightly more on a longer cable as i did - it will help prevent the ends been pulled and getting damaged through the constant pulling on them. Overall, from my experience, I would recommend this cable if it is a micro USB cable you are looking for

i would prefer the wire length to be longer, but the quality is A star , deffo would last long time

i got this to conect my controller wired and it kept disconecting randomly! SO i got a fast cheaper cable that was marked as 120w had a slightly thicker cable with a orange partion in the usb plug an it worked properly so this is ok if you dont rely on performance.

Cable solide (tressé) et efficace pour le transfert de donnée et le chargement. L'entortillement du câble est limité grâce au fait qu'il soit tressé. Pour mon cas d'utilisation, la longueur de 0.5 était un peu courte, pour la différence de prix, préférez celui d'1m qui est plus polyvalent. Très bon rapport qualité / prix.

I bought this cable as a replacement for my original Samsung USB charging cable that came with the phone. The original cable lasted several years, but in the end the copper wires broke where they enter the Micro USB connector. This part of the connector did not have a strain relief. The Ugreen cable exterior is protected by a textile sheath, the ends of which are apparently molded into the plastic ends of the two USB connectors (which are stiff plastic and therefore not really a strain relief, even though they may look so in the item's pictures). This prevents the ends of the threads to fray. The cable is quite stiff. Like all signal cables, sharp bending should be avoided, especially near the connectors, and the stiffness may help as a reminder not do do this. At the same time, the cable tends to remain straight, rather than kinked. The connectors are apparently gold-plated, and their general appearance is high-end. I don't know the diameter of the copper wires, but the diameter and weight of the cable do suggest a generous use of copper, which is necessary to support the quick-charge function without heating or voltage drops. Cheap USB cables skimp on copper and use the bare minimum of it, which is not good for this function and can encourage breakage on repeated folding. The cable works well both when charging the phone and carrying data.
