OXO Good Grips Seafood & Nut Cracker

I actually use these for planting/trans-planting my plants. The scoup end makes the hole for seed/plant and for getting them back out. The tiny prong side helps with trans planting the tiny plant so you don't break the roots of the plant. Works perfectly. Easy to use. This tool is sturdy and won't bend/break. Has a nice gripper to hold. The size of this tool is perfect for the job and it's not heavy at all. Love this tool.

I love this nutcracker! It feels good in the hand and is very strong. It’s actually easier to crack nuts with this one than the old cheap one I had that finally broke. Do yourself a favor and buy this one. It’s totally worth it!

We have used it as a nutcracker. It appears to be made well and does the job.

This nutcracker was more expensive than others available; but it is lightweight and doesn't do as well with hard shell nuts as I had hoped. If you are using it on nuts such as paper shell pecans, it works fine. It takes a lot of leverage on other nuts. The handles do provide good grips for exercising that leverage.

These have a nice, sturdy feel and function perfectly. So much better than the cheap version I had.

Bought this for my elderly mom to use. She loves cracking pecans and walnuts. The rubber grips on the handles make it more comfortable and better grip for her fragile hands.

Oxo is one of those products that I confidently order knowing that I will receive a quality product. In addition to the seafood picks, I also recently ordered & received seafood scissors & crab cracking tools, which I am extremely satisfied with. Will continue to order kitchen essentials from Oxo.

Wow! These are the best nutcrackers I have ever used - look no further. They are solidly made and comfortable to use, capable of cracking the strongest of nuts. Slightly smaller than I expected, but just big enough for large wallnuts.

Testé à la chaine sur une dizaines d'araignées de mer d'environ 1,5 kg pièce (carapace bien plus solide que celle d'un tourteau). Cette pince à crustacés s'avère très efficace excepté sur les segments de trop faible diamètre mais çà n'a aucune importance car on peut sortir la chair sans problème par rupture de l'articulation. L'axe se réouvre automatiquement ce qui permet de ne pas perdre de temps. Vraiment très pratique. Non testé sur des fruits à coque (noix, noisettes, amandes) car la forme semble très inadaptée vs un casse noix RÖSLE par exemple.
