WAY better than traditional belt buckles
I've been using these "ratchet" belt buckles for a few years now. They must be used with the corresponding belts - but there are no holes in the belt - and there isn't any traditional "pin" to tear through the belt. Instead, the ratchet grabs the belt - and is widely adjustable without having to poke holes. In this case, one of my buckles finally broke (it lost a knob which held the "releasing lever" in place) so I just bought a new buckle. Works great. Looks great. And on I go for another 5 years or so.

Seems to work well
This buckle fits where as the cheaper buckle I tried first did not. I have a synthetic leather belt that is robust and this buckle provides a snug fit. The finish is very nice and polished. It seems as if it will hold up. This buckle is much better than the cheaper one (you are probably comparing it right now :-) ) available on Amazon. I recommend this one.

Works so well.
Had problems with other ratcheting buckles breaking. The rivets on this one seem more robust. Love the look! Price was very reasonable.

Just What I Wanted
I bought this because a belt a I recently bought had a small lever to release the ratchet. But it kept falling off the belt, because any slight pressure on the belt in the direction of the buckle caused the teeth to swing up and release. This one has a simpler system in which you just lift the bucket face. More intuitive, too. And no more surprises of the cut end coming out.

Cool looking, would buy again.
Love it, very stylish - however, it's very heavy. If anyone on production/design reads this: why not make them out of Aluminum? Anyway: peace of advice... measure your old belt very carefully, they differ by 2 to 4 mm in width.

Bad Design!
I like the look of the buckle, but trying to get it off, is another story. You have to push back on the buckle to release it. But then it stopped releasing, after working forever trying to get it off, I final had to cut it off! Not the way it is suppose to work. Lost a good belt.
