The Biltong Man Peri-Peri Beef Biltong - High-Protein Dried Beef Snack, 1000g (2 x 500g)

OK, so I've given up drinking and taken to snacking. For some reason I have a crazing for Biltong at the moment and have tried everything I could find in M&S, Sainsburys and my local shop in the last two weeks. What can I say, Billtongman? This stuff is lovely. Not too spicy, nicely flavoured and deliciously moist, but not too moist. The pieces are large enough to actually pick up and chew, no tiny grainy bits at the bottom of the bag, totally the right thickness as well, for me. Bloody good job I must say and great value compared to the £2 you will pay for 25g of this stuff, far inferior in supermarkets. The only thing which could possibly make this any better would be a resealable bag, but that's not a criticism - I'll just have to eat it faster!

Biltong is slowly getting noticed as a great snacking food. So, there are a lot of alternatives available. Well, I've tried a few & I assumed all Biltong was chewy & an effort to eat. I was very surprised by how different The Biltong Man's Biltong is. Delicious, really full of flavour small pieces & yes, soft & tender so still chewy but not an effort to chew & definitely does not take an effort to eat. Go on, give this a try, you deserve better. I did not receive this product FOC as I placed an order via amazon.co.uk just like any customer so this is my impartial review.

Mmmmm.. Beef snacks. Lovely lovely biltong. I'd rather get the whole pieces and cut it up myself, just because I know I wouldn't eat it all in a day. This is the 2nd kilo I've bought, so far that is.. Reasonably priced, fast delivery and tasty little meat snacks delivered to you... Call me easily amused but I am at half mast talking about this.

Very nice biltong, it's the perfect moisture, not too dry, not too wet. The flavour is good but I would prefer personally a spicier peri peri . It does get more spicy the more you have but the flavour isn't spicy enough for me. Would buy again 🙂

Ordered a few of these potent peri peri biltongs now and am consistently impressed by the quality cuts of beef used. The seasoning is very tasty and packs a fairly powerful kick so if you're not a fan of spicy food you might want to avoid and try one of the other flavours offered by The Biltong Man. The 1kg comes packed in 2 500g bags, once opened I find storing the biltong in an airtight ziplock bag keeps it fresh for several days, not that it usually lasts too long though.

I've had alot of biltong in my life and I thought : oh this haz good reviewsa and its cheap. But I knew the risks with cheap biltong. Sadly it has got too much fat on the meat, taste is ok but its some cheaper cut for sure and it's way tooo chewy. It should be much dryer then what I recevied. Going back to more expensive brand. I would not recommend this biltong personally.

En la foto podemos ver lo que se supone que contiene el paquete. Sin embargo las tiras son mucho más delgadas y cortas. El sabor es excelente y, a pesar de la decepción inicial, estoy satisfecho con la compra. Buena opción.

Gusto e aroma del tutto simili a prodotti che ho gustato in vari viaggi in sud Africa. Il piccante non impedisce di apprezzare la qualità della carne e ne esalta la sapidità. Ottimo per un aperitivo o con una birra. Giusto rapporto qualità prezzo.

Forse eccessivamente speziata per quelli a cui non piacciono questi sapori, ma comunque la carne è ottima e ha un costo decisamente inferiore a molte altre proposte simili, in qualche caso anche di minor qualità.

La carne es muy buena y de calidad, pero deberían informar de la fecha de caducidad del producto. En mi caso caducaba a los 8 días de la compra. Una pena
