Excellent for Starter Locs
I just used y the Slick N Slay to start my Sista Locs... an excellent choice! I purchased the apple fragrance which is a light apple scent...not obnoxious or overwhelming. A little product went a long way.

Great for braids!
Great for braids! As long as the hair is CLEAN with little product (oils, grease) in it, it doesnโt leave a white residue. It smells so good, leave a good shine, isnโt sticky and you can feel the oils/moisture in it.

This helps my hair stay slick looking holding my hair in place. After use, my hair doesnโt look or feel dry and stiff. It holds moisture and keeps its shine.

Leaves White Residue when dries.
Has a nice hold but it will leave white residue after it dries and especially if you touch your hair/scalp. You will need some hair sheen or oil to hide the white residue.
