Brilliant frame
The frame was so easy to build and came with all of the parts with no issues. The plastic screw caps are so easy to use and there were plenty included so have more than enough to keep the fabric tight. I wanted to try tufting for the first time and this frame made it very easy. Very happy.

Very happy
I bought this frame back in April, had huge problems getting the screws to fit into frame so sadly couldn’t use it. Communication was exellent from this seller, They honestly went above and beyond to help me. Brand new item sent with parts I can actually use. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you

Pins a bit annoying but good product overall
The pins hurt you hands and are a bit fiddly to get in. However when you've finished messing with the pins the frame itself is great and the perfect size for rug projects

Dont waste your money
Very unstable and poor quality for the price that it was. Very disappointed. Thought l'd give it a go though and a couple of months later the frame is already broken

Screws don't work
The frame did not come with the instructions and I even manage to make it on my own. However the plastic screws are extremely hard to put into the frame. I have seen the seller send better screws to people but I have not received.

Really hard to stretch the clothes on the frame with the plastic screw
The frame is good, easy to put together but ...... For gun tufting, it is crucial how tight the clothes. With the provided plastic screw it is really hard to stretch it tight and it constantly needs adjustment because it becomes really loose. I need to spend another additional £30 minimum to glue a carpet grid around if it is possible because without that it is useless.

I am beyond impressed with this 53-inch aluminum tufting frame. I actually set this up with the "help" of my 3-year-old, and we were completely finished in about an hour! The assembly is incredibly intuitive and straightforward. The design is very well thought out. The base is nice and wide, making it feel very sturdy, and the legs are shaped in a way that makes them easy to weigh down or anchor for extra stability while tufting. The 53-inch size provides a massive workspace, and I love the thoughtful additions—like the extra gripper teeth and the bars to hang your yarn or supplies. If you're looking for a professional-feeling frame that doesn't take a rocket scientist to put together, this is it. Highly recommend for any rug maker!

Does not work for every tufting rack! Wasted my money!!

The exact size / measurements of the knobs isn't stipulated. Metal frames can vary in wall width anywhere from 1mm to 4mm. This results in the risk of not having them fit on the metal frame. I had to trim the "leg" of each and every knob. Thank you for wasting 2 hours of my time to get them to fit on a very regular metal frame.

I started tufting about 10 weeks ago. I am retired, so that means I can spend a lot of time and too much money on things that I find satisfying. I am outgrowing my first frame, but not yet skilled enough for the really big frame that I already have. This is perfect in lots of ways: 1. I had no trouble putting it together without help. 2. It’s really light, so I can easily move it. 3. It’s exactly the right width for my supply of cloth. I had a lot of wastage with the smaller frame. 4. The fabric is TIGHT when stretched. You can see in the pic how I wrapped it around the sides before attaching it. It took more time than with carpet tack strips, so it is so worth it. No tearing no matter how tight you go. 5. It comes with way more fasteners than you could use at one time and that’s great insurance for when the dog snatches one. 6. The height is adjustable, the width is not. Too bad, that would be extra wonderful. 7. It comes with everything you need, but I wished I hadn’t lost my socket wrench. 8. No little spikes to avoid or to tear your fabric. 9. The price seems fair, based on quality, great design and comparison to other frames you can buy. Improvements on my wishlist: 1. Include more pieces for flexibility in dimensions. Like a great big Lego set. 2. Include an extra cross beam for the base. That’s about it. I will probably use this one instead of my smaller one.

This frame took me some time to assemble and was a bit awkward with the brackets and bolts/screws. It included a small wrench, but that is what makes assembly difficult and tedious. It is difficult to screw the bolts due to the positioning next to the bracket and having to ensure the screw it twisted properly so that it doesn't come back out. After assembly, it looks sturdy and durable. Per the manual, it includes 100 cloth holders. I have not used this frame yet to test its ability/quality while tufting my rugs. It is a good value based on the adjustable height, aluminum/metal structure, light weight/easy to move/lift and not having the carpenter nails scratching me while tufting. I will update my review based on results while tufting.
