Shocktato Party game by Stormwired - The Hilariously Funny Game of Shocking Potato - Gag Gifts and Stocking Stuffers for Teens

It was a fun game that my 12 year old loved. The shock was not to intense at all but even my 17 year old son wanted to get involved although he only passed it to his 12 year old brothers and fell out was attempting to be vindictive they no we had a lot of fun playing it.

The Shocktato is really fun and good to have in a crisis! While at a family reunion my Uncle had a heart attack, so we quickly gathered the family together for a fast round of Shocktato! It took a few rounds of playing before my uncle caught it when the shock happened, fortunately it was enough to restart his heart! Unfortunately that meant he lost the game. I would give it 6 stars if I could!!

Fun and yes it gives a solid shock - doesnt hurt but enough to make it “scary fun” to play. muhaha!

Holy smokage! It does give you a good shock (some softies won't play anymore) and will continue on to someone else if it is passed quickly enough. Trust me, you will toss it anywhere after you get zapped. Some will tolerate it better than others but once you understand the discharge level, it's not bad. The Lame just goes like a regular Hot Potato game w a buzzer to let you know. I understand the difference between Normal and Extreme is that the latter doesn't make any noise-The shock level is the same. I don't know, - just afraid to find out! LOL It is a fun game though for sure! Lots of smiles and laughter.

We were so excited to play this game when all the family was in town and we played it and it shocked one time then stopped. We changed out the batteries thinking maybe that was the problem but no shock, very disappointed. Update on the Shocktato, the customer service was great, they sent me another one and it works great. Thank You!

Purchased for 11 year old boys birthday party ages 9 to 13 group of boys played. It was a huge hit! Lots of laughter and silliness! They all had a blast playing 10 out of 10 would recommend! $35 worth every cent. The 9 year old had fun and joined in but was maybe a little young for it, but had fun watching when not playing. I'd say for ages 11 & up.

Okay, maybe I am in the wrong for not understanding what I was getting with this product. I expected the 'normal' setting to produce a small shock (like touching a 9-volt battery) but the normal setting produces a large enough shock that I involuntarily threw the potato and yelled. It caused my arm to ache (not a huge pain but I felt it) for awhile afterward. I couldn't bring myself to try the 'extreme' setting. This was a gift for a teen but I am glad I decided to test it out first, I honestly think the shock on the 'normal' setting should be labeled as extreme. That said, if you are looking for a toy with a very big shock, this is the product for you. For me, I am returning it.

Decided to buy this as a fun little gift, first red flag was the box being damaged but took it in stride as long as the potato actually worked. It felt a bit cheap so we decided to play ontop of some cushions so that when it fell it didn't shatter into a million pieces. After 2 games it suddenly stopped shocking us and that was it. Still waiting for a refund
