I’m obsessed with this. It’s the only Matcha latte mix that I found that I like, aside from ones you buy from actual Japan. I’ve purchased this like five times already, it is my absolute favorite one that I bought, and I will continue to buy only this one. Has a really nice taste, not super sweet or flavored strongly, but definitely gives you that grassy earthy taste that makes Matcha delicious.

Texture was smooth and silky which was really nice. The taste and smell was pleasantly grassy, without any bitterness even with how much I put. Other the other hand, it seemed to have a bit of trouble frothing. I use a milk frother and not a whisk, but their culinary grade matcha didn't have this same issue. And the taste, while pleasant, was rather bland. It's decent enough for usucha or koicha, but the taste is not very prominent in lattes and I had to use up more to make up for it. I initially thought maybe it wasn't suited for lattes since some higher quality matcha tends to be better suited without any cream. Yet by drinking it as an usucha I could tell it was lacking in depth. Lastly, color was more so on the dull, chalky side. It's still a nice green though but not vibrant. In all honesty, this would be solid at 40-50$ CAD but 60$ for 100g is not worth it. Especially when there are better out there, even on Amazon. That is to say, there IS an ongoing global shortage of matcha right now and I'm hoping the seemingly drop in quality is due to that more than anything.

I would strongly recommend this seller specifically, because you're guaranteed to get fresh high quality tea, consistently. This is my 3rd time ordering this specific matcha from Aprika and I will likely continue to order this as a pantry staple because I trust the quality of their ceremonial grade matcha. The colour is vibrant green, so you could tell that it's fresh. The flavour is strong, what you would usually expect from matcha, but you could really taste how fresh it is compared to some of the other ones available on Amazon. The price for value is unbeatable as well, since you get a lot of tea in the package. I had to speak to customer service for an unrelated issue, and this small business seems to have a genuine passion for their products and their customers which you don't really see from companies anymore.

Awful. Bitter. Grassy. We normally buy high quality from Midori Springs, they were out of stock so we tried this as reviews were mostly good, high rated. I really don't understand why and wish I could return it. This doesn't come close. Colour is brownish green, not a fresh, bright dark green. If you know, you know. It's bitter and tastes like grass. Complete rip off and should be sold for $20. No joke. Don't waste your money. Its gross.
