The media could not be loaded. Purchased due to our freezer door constantly being left ajar which then causes the fridge freezer to go into overdrive. Making ice blockages that then stop the fridge freezer from working properly!Very easy to fit. I made sure all surfaces were clean and free from grease, then dried. Once dried I simply peeled back the backing and pressed firmly.Because of its design, they're was no faffing in lining up etc.So far so good. And for the price it's good value for money. And I'd highly recommend.Very simple to use!To add, Our fridge doors and frame sit flush, so worked very well.Edit: September 2024...3 months in and the lock has "moved" several times. And lost its powerful stick on! So I'm going to have to either replace or used a more powerful glue.

disclaimer: not used for stated purposeThis is a review for those who use it as a way to keep something closed or for an external easy to use partial locking system. For children, it should be fine although I'd argue as an adult it took some getting used to.Right, adhesive is not as strong as it should, it fell off the fridge without provocation and I had cleaned the area and dried it before sticking it down. I also did that at night so it would have the best chance of sticking and it wasn't very good. More adhesive please if you can. (Used it to keep fridge closed as fridge adhesive has decayed.)

Although I haven't got children to keep out, my freezer door doesn't always close properly. This has a magnet which pulls them together and stops my freezer defrosting again. It's so easy to attach and to use. Great value.

The fridge lock is as described. My toddler started to go into the fridge and take a bit out of everything and what she disliked throw to the floor. This hopefully will keep her out. It is day one but seems strong. I would recommend.

Your fridge needs to be 100% flush with both sides, ours has a 0.25cm difference between the main compartment and the door when closed so it just didn’t work.Shame as it was quite strong otherwise.Need to find another lock so our fat cat can’t raid the fridge at night!

Unfortunately it wasn’t the right design for my fridge as the door and body of the fridge didn’t line up, but otherwise it would have been perfect.Sent it back and the refund was very quick no quibble

I was hesitant to purchase this door lock based on the reviews. However, we have used it for 5 months and it is really good. Our reason for getting it was to stop the freezer door opening when the fridge door was closed and causing it to defrost. This does the trick. It appears well made and stuck really well. The door was cleaned well before the lock was stuck on. It seems really solid. As a child lock, I think it would work well. The only weakness in its design that I can see, would be if the little one worked out the lock was stopping the door opening, they could target it directly and it may come away. We didn't have a problem with our kids opening the fridge, but this would have worked. The clips and locks we did use were as good at this. I would recommend it for its designed use and to stop the door opening!
