Comes in different sizes
Well constructed. However I really wanted the bullworker classic which is longer that this bow model. Do not get mixed up between the The Bow (smaller model in length) and The Classic (original longer model) It was the classic that I had when I was in my teens and 20s. I had two. Sold the first one and then got the buffalo model with flat ribbon and no wires. Do not see that model here as it must be discontinued. Although I've seen it on eBay as used. I've commenced using the bow week 1. I changed the spring to the hardest one and it is mighty hard to push. It comes with 3 springs and you can choose which you prefer. This bullworker is compact, and handy for traveling if you move around a lot and miss getting to the gym, throw it in your hand luggage and your sorted. I guess that is the best part of the bow, is it's compact size and ease of transportation. If you only want home use go for the classic unless you have short arms. The bow might also suit average size females better. I love the quality and it looks and feels great. I am enjoying the simplest of routine that is daily and only takes up five minutes of my day. It will build and maintain your muscles. It really works as I know from my youth. I was always getting beaten at school by one larger boy hands down on arm wrestling. That was until I got hold of my secret weapon and trained for weeks on it. Many weeks later I challenged him again, (inside I was trembling with fear, age 15) He just laughed and said what's the point 😂 I begged him to play me. We set the time and the rest is history 😂 He never asked me again and gave me more respect at school. He was in shock and so was his mates. Top 🐕 dog got beat by the class wimp📣📣📣 I never looked back after that day. Bullworker works 100#% if you apply the program.

The best out of the the 3 current Bullworker models
I have used Bullworkers on & off for the last 40+ years. For the past 16 years I have been using a Bullworker clone ("Powerworker"), after my Bullworker X5 was destroyed in a flood. I have found that the Bullworker is an effective muscle building device, but it is primarily useful for developing your upper body & not that good for leg exercises. My Powerworker is 4cm shorter than the current"Bullworker Bow Classic", which is 91cm long, but even at this shorter length I was getting tendonitis in my elbows when doing compression exercises (pushing the handles together). I am just over 6 feet tall & I have quite long arms for my height, so if I am having problems, shorter people will suffer more. The "Bullworker Steel Bow" at only 51cm in length is ideal for compression exercises & I have been able to do exercises that I have never been able to do with my previous Bullworkers due to their excessive length. However, there is a small compromise when doing pulling exercises involving the cables, as there is a smaller range of movement due to the cables being shorter. Ideally, you would have both the Steel Bow (for compression exercises) & either the Bow Basic, or Bow Classic for the pulling (cable) exercises, but the Steel Bow is the best compromise if you don't want the extra expense of a second Bullworker. I bought the Steel Bow for £169.99 & at this price it represents reasonable value for money, compared to other portable exercise devices. Bear in mind that each of the 5 springs it comes with cost £20 as individual replacements on the Bullworker website & even a set of the rubber cable grips cost £20, so that is £120 of the total price accounted for already. The Steel Bow seems to be well made & is very smooth in use compared to any other Bullworker I have previously used. The ability to be able to swap springs is a very useful feature & is quite quick & easy to do. Certainly less work is involved than in swapping weights on a dumbbell, or barbell. I am probably a bit stronger than average & I have found that the 3 least powerful springs are sufficient for my training needs at present, though if I used the Steel Bow for leg exercises, I would have to utilise one or other of the two stronger springs. I did also consider the Bullworker basic at £129.99, which at 71cm in length might have made it suitable for the compression exercises, but it has one fixed spring & doesn't even come with cable grips. Once you have experienced Bullworker cable grips, you can never go back to using bare Bullworker cables! In fact I had to buy a set of grips for my Powerworker, as I still use this for the majority of the cable/ pulling exercises.

This is awesome! I've completed 60 days of a 90 day ...
This is awesome ! I've completed 60 days of a 90 day challenge and I'm already leaner, fitter and better defined than I could have hoped. I've been doing three short HIIT runs a week too though. (15 mins each.) Highly recommended but look for routines other than that provided with the Bullworker. Changing your routines is key to good results and keeps you interested. You need to invest around 20 minutes of decent effort on average a day. This will not get you big but it will get you in shape. ***Update*** It has been a year since I started my Bullworker training. This will not get you big (for that you need a lot of time and a proper gym) but it WILL get you lean and mean. I've learned that resistance training and a more-protein/less sugar diet is key to weight loss - the Bullworker goes well with HIIT running (15mins every other day.) I've moved on to bodyweight training and barbells/dumbbells and I thank Bullworker for giving me the motivation and physical means to do it. I still use my ancient X5 and Steel Bow in my routines to finish off reps or to spot muscle groups that cannot be reached by other means. I also enjoy just having Bullworker days on their own. I am now fitter and more developed than I have ever been and feel fantastic ! Bullworker is no gimmick. It is a seriously useful addition to any gym and a great introduction to working out. I liken it to kindling when starting a fire. A little every day - just get in the habit, next thing you're getting addicted. Ditch pastries, biscuits, sugary stuff... you will be transformed inside and out. I'm finding it hard not to sound like a Bullworker representative but I am now a huge fan of the things. I even take mine on holiday with me ! Here are some other recommendations: Mark Lauren, You are Your Own Gym and Harry Wong Dynamic Strength (videos free on YouTube) Also a friction held (height adjustable) doorway chin-up bar later on. One thing. The 70% effort thing that the Bullworker people advise you to do is there to protect you from tendonitis in the elbows so don't over do it - form is far more important than weight/resistance.

I have owned an original Bullworker for about 50 years and it's still functioning properly. It is portable, but I was looking for something even more compact and versatile, and saw the Steel Bow with interchangeable springs on Amazon. This new device is greatly improved with more comfortable grips and handles on the cables. The gauge is now on the tube instead of a plastic strip that could break off. The biggest improvement is the quickly interchangeable springs. These let you start at an easier level and work up to a very difficult push, pull, or lift with the heaviest spring. Mine came with a nice carrying bag and a spiral bound book with a 90 day transformation program. I started the 90 day challenge on January 1st, 2020 and as of today, March 4, 2020 I have lost 3 pounds of fat, my waist has shrunk, and yet my arm muscles are bigger and much better defined. There are some great exercises for all parts of the body and my legs are stronger and my six pack is now showing again. My goal is to get stronger and leaner which should help me be faster in my Masters Middle Distance races. The 90 Challenge and the great support from the Bullworker team and the community of users has really increased my motivation to use this device to its fullest capability. No exercise device will work if you don't use it properly and consistently. This device, and the people behind it, will get you started and keep you going on a very effective fitness path.

Ok, first i say to get this out of the way, no I'm not paid, padded, prodded, or patted to give my thoughts on the Bullworker in this case the Steel Bow. When I was a young boy, we are talking like quite awhile back. I had an opportunity to have one of these. It had such a carry over effect, that it stayed with me throughout high school, out into football, weightlifting the whole thing. People under estimates these little gems. I get so tickled, that's why they can say, "The Best Kept Secret In Fitness". Why? My dear friend. Sure for more than 20 years or better hospitals, and such incorporate isometrics into Rehabilitation, because it's fast and effective to get one quickly onto the road to recovery. Please don't think it is not effective because of it's lightweight...think again. Look at a little of its History. Bruce Lee used a Bullworker during a point in his career. Muhammad Ali I believe help to promote it. Isometric exercise was used in space missions, because besides weights taking up a lot of space (no pun intended) there was the issue of no gravity, so what use would weights be. Then there is Alexander Zass, best known as the Father of Isometric workouts. He was a strongman who bent steel, carried a mid size horse over his back, and many more incredible stunts, was he known for a lot of weightlifting, not much, matter of fact he came to develop his own isometric workout. Back to the Bullworker. It's secret lies in the fact that it's easy on the joints, can tone, define, build strength, and make you Stronger and Quicker without hurting yourself. All that is even needed is only 60-70% of your strength for gains. But today they have all kinds of different exercises with the Bullworker Program. They usually come with a wallchart, and or heavy duty carrying case. Not to mention you can get different accesories to add on, and they help extend to even more exercise and variety. As of now they have the " Bow Classic" Bullworker about 36" has 2 springs 0-50 and 50+ ..the Classic has etched in levels with a ring as well as the other that lets you know how much you are doing..good for 6'0 and above, now it says that it reads 260 at max, all I know is, once there was being offered $20 bills at a Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic if anybody could compress and this was the older models probably not as strong, but nevertheless I believe it were only 4 out of like a hundred or so that could do it, it was discovered they all benched over 400 lbs. and The "Steel Bow" Bullworker 20" good for under 6'0. But that is even not written in stone, a lot of guys and gals prefers the smaller one of is equally as strong. It comes as of date with 3 springs the reading doesn't go as high, but I would not want to try and use the third spring to try a ten second max. Really a person has to try one to believe it. They are like anything, you can't like just look at it and say it works. They are fast and easy to use, no downtime, no changing weights, machines...and like only 7 seconds per exercise and you are done! You can literally do a 5 minute smooth routine and like bam, done! Matter of fact they often would say this, look into the mirror today, then look again in two weeks you will already start seeing results. Most first time users are amazed with the very first workout because of the way it feels in their muscles. Not only that but the Bullworker will build tendon strength, I believe that may be part of its Secret..but my advice read what others say especially on like a Bullworker Site, or like on a face book ...there are guys who have had these since like for 20, 30 years, and some of them have actually used them for 30, 40 years...even weightlifting people who wound up with busted up joints comes around and uses them..All I can say is you got to actually experience one first hand. These are the REAL DEAL no knock-offs, you buy it, they will last most people 20-30 years or even a Lifetime. Many guys had one for like 20-30 years, then pass it down to their children, friend, next of kin...It's almost like a Secret Club or hidden thing, but once you've in or get involved you're There. Hope this helps.
