NESCO FD-7SSD Digital Food Dehydrator for Beef Jerky, Dried Fruit and Dog Treats, 7 Stainless Steel Trays, Silver

I looked at a lot of dehydraters but I'm glad I chose this one. It's worked great and I love the large capacity! It's easy to use and I think it's actually quite nice looking so it's not an eye sore on the counter when I'm using it.

Used it 3 times now and it works good for making jerky.

***Update 4/20/25- Still in love!!! buy it! It's so quite!! *** I don't know why I waited so long! Just buy it! SOOO freaking quiet, absolutely silent. I had to double check that it was actually running! Don't be fooled by the size it fits a lot of product at once! The video I posted in standing about 12 inches from the machine! Background: I also have a Nesco garden master (has served me well for 7+yrs) and it is so loud I usually only use it in the garage. You can sit right next to thus 7tray Nesco and not hear it! The loudest part is the 80s alarm letting you know it's done. Okay one suggestion... buy the mesh liners for the trays they make clean up a lot easier. The machine only comes with 1. I bought a 7 pack (amazon) for $10, and they work great.

This is my first dehydrator. I had to do a lot of research before I settled on this model. I wanted something that was small enough to fit into my already overcrowded kitchen area and inexpensive enough to not feel pain if dehydration turned out to be not what I was hoping for. So far I've only used it to dry herbs, and I've found I have to keep the dehydrator running for about twice as long as most instructions say, but they came out very good and I'm very happy with the dehydrator's size and simplicity.

I live in an apartment right now. I have been using this for about a year now and have made several batches of beef jerky. I would recommend this to anyone! I have in my opinion, with the help of some amazing marinade recipes, made some of the best beef jerky I have ever tasted. I absolutely love this dehydrator! If wear and tear take this machine from me I will happily get another! I wish ya’ll could try my jerky for yourself! 😁

Item arrived quickly. It was well packaged. So far, I dehydrated peaches and !mushrooms and it worked well. It has a timer feature which is really nice. My garden is coming to harvest so it's about to get a good workout. I am happy with my purchase and highly recommend this item.

I recently saw this new item by Nesco. I have other products from them that I love. This one so far has by far exceeded my expectations. I made some dried fruit and beef jerky for the family over the holidays. The 7 trays were just enough space for snacks for my family of 4. It is quiet and easy to use. I love how elegant it looks on my kitchen counter. The light inside is a great feature to allow me to see the progress of my drying. Very well thought out new addition to Nesco. Speaking from one that has other Nesco products this is one you need to add to your kitchen. Awesome new product and will get lots of use in my kitchen.

Easy to use works great. Made a pile of jerky with it

I use it mainly for fruit leather. The edges are hard (almost burnt) and the middle is still mushy. It's much quieter than the Gardenmaster, but does a poor job in comparison. Debating whether to return the device.
